Don’t trust this hotel !!! They sell your room to others after pre pay and send you to best western
Pre paid for a room and when I got to the hotel they said they were sold out and sent me to “sister “ hotel. Not a Sheraton but a best western! If I wanted beat western I would have made reservations there. Wouldn’t recommend!!!!! Wouldn’t offer any refund or discount either! What a rip off, charge me for Sheraton and give me best western room. Terrible!!!!
WONDERFUL SLC Airport Hotel!
This is a great SLC Airport Area Hotel. Prompt shuttle, easy check-in, tasteful rooms, nice food. The rooms stay quiet, are tastefully furnished, lots of power points, classy bathrooms, VERY CLEAN HOUSEKEEPING. Totally knowledgeable staff, thanks BRIANA! Look forward to returning.
Air conditioning not functioning properly on hot day
Upon entering room, turned on air conditioning to “full cold” as it was a very warm day in Salt Lake City. Needed to be to sleep by 8 pm for a very early flight the next morning. Was hoping the room would cool down enough for comfortable sleep. Upon going to bed at 8pm, it was still too warm for comfort, but cooler than when I checked into the room. I was hopeful that it would continue to cool down more, as I didn’t want to pack up and change rooms, as it would have cut into my sleep by an hour, or so, to move and unwind again. Room was still uncomfortable in the morning. When I went down to the lobby, it was considerably cooler. I spoke with the manager a couple days later, to pass on my experience and she wouldn’t make any attempt at a meaningful adjustment to the room rate, even though the air conditioning was not functional. I have stayed at this location numerous times and was surprised at the lack of concern for a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member. I won’t be giving them my business again, unfortunately.
I do not recommend! The reception was careless, said that my card did not go through but the bank advised that it had authorized it and then the charge appeared twice on the other card. When I questioned it, I was just told to rest assured that I would not be charged because it does not appear on the hotel's website. We will see! The room was not cleaned and when I asked they said with little care that it is cleaned every other day, but no one warned in advance. Simply terrible! We hate it! I do not recommend! It runs away from the Sheraton standard.
Questionable Customer Service
Had a nonrefundable reservation for March 5th, while enroute to Sonoma, CA. Another big snowstorm was forecasted for the California Sierras, starting on March 4th thru March 6th. NWS Reno warned motorists that I-80 would likely have road closures at least two days past our March 5th stay. That forced us to radically change our driving route. So did ask for a nonrefundable cancelation due to the weather and was denied. No explanation, no discussion, just no. An interesting customer service attitude. So beware of the Four Seasons customer service. If your room or meeting request impacts their bottom line, your request will likely be denied.
