Very pleasant stay!
Service: Was great. Friendly and professional welcome by Monica Martin who addressed our request for a quiet room, despite the hotel being close to full capacity. Really went out of her way to help us out. Thanks you Monica! Room: Was very clean, from bedding to carpet to bathroom! Location: Very close to the highway. Easy to get on and off the main roads but obviously some rooms have more noise due to the proximity to the highway. Nearby places to eat: There is one just across from the hotel, which we didn't try, other places require a car (especially in January...) / a relatively short drive. Stuff: Very welcoming and friendly, very considerate and accommodating.

Fairfield Inn & Suites - stay away
The front desk reception people were nice. Not knowledgeable of the area at all. I had to ask for my free water bottles for being a member - the man checking me in didn't even know I was a gold member. Then stated that bags / water was only for premier level members, not gold members. The free 'hot' breakfast was a joke. Scrambled eggs and sausage both days - banana's that were over a week old. No 'fresh' fruit other than old banana's and apples. No cheese to add to eggs, no hot sauce either. The workout area - has a treadmill, a elliptical, a bike, and some weights. For the points I had to submit for this room was awful. The room was very small, the bed was right against the wall on one side, and right against the heating vent on the other side. The room was always cold, even after turning the heat up to 76 the room was cold, it would not keep the temperature at the 76 mark, always went back down. The walls in the room had multi color wall paper - none the same. The bathroom didn't have a hook on the door, for towels, no shower shelf for bath shower products - no soap dish. The granite was multi-colored in the bath area. The turn on faucet for the water wasn't even in the tub section - it was off set. WHY??? The bathroom door came right up to the vanity - centimeters from hitting it. The 4th floor hallway was freezing, no heat at all in the hallway. The parking garage was awful! Holes in the walls, random homeless people walking around. Trash everywhere, abandoned car seats in the corner. I am requesting my points refunded back to my account.

This hotel is in terrible shape!
So disappointed with this Marriott! I usually book with Marriott and have never seen a hotel in such terrible shape. Our first room had a terrible mattress. My husband noticed right away that there were visible human imprints in the mattress and upon sitting on the bed we could tell we wouldn’t be able to sleep well. The cover had a large stain as well. We asked to switch rooms and were given choices. I checked two rooms and was super uncomfortable with both. Brought my family to the new room and was unable to relax. There is strange white stuff all over the walls. We checked out the restroom and it was not great. The ceiling is peeling the tub looked questionable. The lights were loose. The towels were against a dirty vent. I then went to inspect the mattress for bugs and I can’t believe what I found! Debri and little black hairs! I was unsure if what I was seeing was bed bugs markings or not so I panicked and couldn’t allow my family to stay here! Asked for a refund and staff were unable to help me. I had to call back the next day through my capital one booking agent to speak with a manager and they are refusing a refund because they offered me another room already. The problem is of the 3 rooms I saw none of them were in good shape! So disappointed. Will not be trusting the Marriott brand ever again.

A Marriott Hotel? Really? Needs a Complete Renovation
We selected this hotel based on location, price and Fairfield brand. Thank goodness we were only there for less than 24 hours. As others have stated, this hotel needs a complete renovation. Our room was ok but didn't feel bright and airy like other Fairfield Inns. There were few outlets making it difficult to charge multiple devises. The bathroom - UGH - the tub drain was very slow so dirty water accumulated up to my ankles and when it finally drained for my daughter to shower, there was a dark film around the tub - GROSS. The panel on the back of the bathroom door was bubbling and about to peel off and the lighting in the bathroom itself was very dark. It was late at night so I didn't ask for a new room. Unlike other reviews, our beds were clean and comfortable - the main reason for our stay. We just didn't feel clean after showering. The only redeeming thing about this hotel is its location - a short drive to the high end Cherry Creek Mall. I do not recommend staying here unless it is renovated.

This Hotel Gave Me Nightmares
I am writing this review because I just recently had memory of the smell of this hotel.. The smell was so bad. So bad. I gag just thinking about it. The rooms gave off the vibe of dead people and I could feel the dusty ceilings falling on me. I’m not sure how this place is considered a Marriott hotel or even in business for that matter. Avoid this hotel at all costs :s
