Oct 26, 2026Massive Food Disappointment
If you're from a region of the country where folks don't eat a lot of spicy food (NY region, for example), all Wynn fine dining restaurants will disappoint. A few examples: Pisces- restaurant was unable/unwilling to make 90% of the dishes without spice. Casa Playa- restaurant was unable/unwilling to 100% of the dishes without spice. Sinatra- a few more options without spice, but food not as good as NY Italian. Regardless of how the restaurant describes itself, all Wynn restaurants are basically Southwestern chipotle style.

Not the 5-star standard you pay for. We checked into our room at Encore only to find leftover food from the previous guest still sitting there. I physically walked down to the front desk to report it in person, and was met with: "This is the front desk, not housekeeping—what do you want me to do about it?" Later, we requested an extra fridge for the room. When it arrived, it literally still had the previous guest’s items inside it as well. You can’t make this up. For a luxury resort that charges premium rates and claims world-class hospitality, this level of housekeeping and front-desk apathy is completely unacceptable.

Absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable
This was my first time in Las Vegas, and I honestly cannot believe this is the experience I had at a hotel that is supposed to be one of the nicest in the city. We arrived around 8:40 PM with a 9:00 PM dinner reservation. At check-in, the front desk specifically told us that our room had just been renovated and that we were the first guests to ever stay in it. We get upstairs, pull back the sheets, and there is blood on the bed. BLOOD. In a supposedly brand new room. That is absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable, especially at a luxury hotel like Encore. We were already rushing to make our dinner reservation, so we did not have time to go back downstairs, wait around, and change rooms. We called the front desk expecting them to actually take the situation seriously. Instead, they sent someone up to change the sheets and offered us a complimentary dessert. And somehow, they tried to send the dessert at 9 AM the next morning. Obviously, we were not even awake or in the room to receive it, so they left a note telling us to call when we wanted it delivered. Why would I go out of my way to call the hotel for a dessert I never asked for in the first place? I was not going to spend my day sitting around in the room waiting for someone to deliver a dessert whenever they decided to show up. I was out enjoying Vegas, not waiting around for hotel staff. That was not a solution, it was another inconvenience they were putting on us. We brought the situation up again at checkout, and the absolute best they could offer was $100 off our stay. That is laughable. We paid luxury hotel prices and ended up having to sleep in a room where we had literally found blood on the bed, and their idea of making it right was $100 and a dessert that was handled so poorly we never even received it. This was not a minor inconvenience. This was disgusting, completely unacceptable, and handled horribly from start to finish. The lack of urgency and the response from management was honestly shocking. This was my first time in Vegas, and I am genuinely so disappointed that this is what I will remember from my stay. Encore clearly has no problem charging luxury prices, but apparently the level of service and accountability does not match. I will never stay here again and I absolutely would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Finding blood on the bed is disgusting enough, but the fact that the hotel acted like $100 off made the situation acceptable is honestly unbelievable.

We stayed at the Encore in 2016, 2019 and recently in 2026. Rooms are lovely- we had a newly renovated room. We love the pool near the lobby- servers were professional and always available. We enjoyed having a cocktail and shareable plate at the Lobby Bar and people watching. We also enjoyed walking over to the Wynn and enjoying a meal and drinks watching the show at Lake of Dreams. Beautiful setting’

Always great
As always this was a great stay. Rooms are fantastic. The whole place is spotless. The pool area was great with plenty of loungers. The sports bar at the Wynn is a great place for lunch. Great food and service and great cocktails. This is my favorite Las Vegas hotel. This place is expensive but worth it.
