I was absolutely distraught upon going last Friday. My booking that I made a year ago I messed up. I made a call to the hotel. Marvin, got on the phone. He reassured me everything would be fine. He gave me one of the best rooms on the top floor by the elevator and the ice machine as I was crying. Being a nurse coming in for the nurse convention in my stress is where I made a mistake in my booking. He repeatedly reassured me they would be waiting for me and everything will be fine when I arrived. He was so welcoming everyday I saw him. He greeted me by name without hesitation. I felt like I actually had a friend. His customer service and attention to detail is why I'm sure he's at the place he is in his job. I do not think I've ever encountered such exceptional kindness courtesy And friendliness in a hotel staff member. I cannot say enough about him. I have to say I actually miss him right now! I would love for you to do something special for him. He is exceptional. Thank you embassy. We stay there every time we come for our conventions

Hi, I was very disappointed to hear about what happened to Aaron. I’ve stayed multiple tiple in the past months for business and he was the highlight! Every time we experienced issues he turned it around. Obviously it’s more than the hotel that needs work. A great presence at this particular location and that’s coming from me and my wife (she’s a tough cookie). I’m disappointed in whoever was responsible. That kid has a bright future and was a light in this hotel.

Apr 10, 2026Amazing staff, old, poorly maintained building.
Excellent front desk staff. Great location. Old, outdated, poorly maintained rooms made for a bad stay. We were first give a small room with only one three by three ft. window and low ceilings (not on website) when the toilet broke we were moved to a nicer room with a balcony. New room had several maintenance issues. Breakfast was not maintained and trash cans overflowed. Juice machine broke and overflowed and it was not attended to. Reception food was gold fish and potato chips. I have never had a Hilton brand experience this bad. I saw two other rooms check out early due to issues while I was speaking to the front desk. The experience was so bad we checked out half-way through our stay to go to a different hotel. I feel really bad the amazing staff has to deal with upset guests due to the hotels condition. Hilton should renovate or close this location.

Relaxing in New Orleans
Our stay was relaxing and our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The crew at the front desk went out of their way to ensure our stay was a good one. Thanks to Mathew, Daetcel, Marvin. The valets were awesome and had our vehicle ready when needed. Thank you Nam and other valets.

Superb Anniversary Stay
Marvin remarkably enhanced our stay. He was a pleasure to communicate with. He adeptly accommodated us when our hot water wasn't functioning. He went above and beyond to accommodate us on the right floor in the hotel. He was extremely attentive to the needs of the guest with a pleasant voice and smile.
