  Excellent experience 10/10. Tristan, Naomi, Chris, Alex, Mafer, Angel entertainment team is amazing! Staff, resort and food is top notch!

  Amazing and fun

  Tristan, mafer, angel, Naomi, chris and Alex were amazing during the activities! We did water aerobics and beach bag painting and they were very accommodating and fun!

  Simply the best. Full stop.

  This was a wonderful vacation spot that I would return to again and again. I wouldn't have thought that I would want to necessarily come back to the same place for a vacation before coming here, but after experiencing it, I'm fully confident in saying this is a wonderful experience at a fantastic hotel. The Dorado brand has a number of hotels and I may try some of the other ones in the future, but I have to say this one is amazing. It's quiet. There are things to do and there's nothing to do. If all you want to do is just be chill and sit down and watch the ocean go by for a week, you can do that. If you want to be a little more active and do some more things or get a workout, go get some spa in, you can do that. The entertainment team is top notch. Alex, Mafer, Angel, Tristen, Naomi and Chris kept up our daytime fun every day. The volleyball on the beach and in the pool each afternoon we're my favorites. They also did music trivia, salsa lessons, pool exercise and just general all around fun! They clearly love their jobs and they're wonderful to hang out with in vacation. The included two-hour catamaran ride to snorkeling, the ranch where you can see some rescued animals and swim in a cenote are all wonderful experiences that come with your reservation. That is just a bonus that you don't see at every kind of place. There's also options for à la carte motorized water sports if you want. You can also do candlelight dinners on the beach, though those are extra. Frankly, sitting at the main restaurants and just sitting outside is pretty much at the beach anyways, so you're living the good life just eating dinner wherever you are. If you have the chance, you should experience this. I'll be back for sure.

  So thankful for the care we were given.

  We love El Dorado Maroma beach. Yes, there is seaweed on the beach however workers start removing it early leaving the sand soft and white. The swim up rooms are so nice if you want to walk off your patio straight to the pool. The upper level floors are nice for the view. If you prefer peace and quiet it’s best to stay far from the main pool. We stayed for 10 days so my husband could have major dental work done in Playa de Carmen. The staff at the resort went above and beyond to make sure my husband had everything he needed to get through the process as comfortably as possible. We can’t thank our butler Israel and waiter Carlos enough. All the staff are excellent. The spa is fantastic and the grounds are so beautiful it’s like walking through a botanical garden. We are already looking forward to returning in 6 months.
