Affordable luxury
From the moment of check in till the sadness of departure, every aspect of my short stay was wonderful. Staff go “above and beyond” to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. You are spoilt for choice with so many eating and culinary options, and the variety of pools guarantees good options.

Good Experience
Clean rooms. Everything was nice. Typical El Cid property, the people make all the difference.Figuring out dining and drink options takes a couple of days. But the staffs attitudes help get over it. The Granada is a nice option for a quieter stay. Thanks el patio staff and the Castillo bar servers.

Good but need some improvement
Loved the Argentinian restaurant. Do not waste your time in Italian a la cart restaurant. Some problems with a door knob which was fixed after I got annoyed and asked to change the rooms. Loved the silent share holders pool.

It you really want to work to get your all inclusive stay here
It is really hard to get service or a spot at the pool. It seems oversold and I really would not go back as it does not bring value. Found the service to be focused on locals and not the people that are visiting from other place. Also hard to book restaurants as even when you call first thing in the morning very few spots left. The regular buffets are just ok and I would prefer to go out somewhere where people would serve you for the price you pay.

Good vacation and good value for $
El Cid resorts always a good value for vacations. Staff are excellent, problems solved quickly. All-inclusive is better volume than quality but always something good to find. La Casada restaurant a favorite.
