We had a wonderful inter-generational experience. Restaurant options were great and food quality beyond our expectations. Pools and lounge chairs were great, as was the beach. Staff were always cheerful and helpful. Definitely worth going!

Great place for family
Make sure you ask when restaurants are open as the app is not accurate. Great food at capers but adults only. Breakfast could have been better but there were many buffet options. Pool was clean but make sure you go down early each morning to secure your chairs by pool. Pool deck is very very slippery. The grill by pool is amazing. The nightly events are interactive and fun. Played beach volleyball (free) and rode horses on beach for a cost by cash. 2ppl 45min $120 USD Kayaking is free.

Love this place!!!
The staff here is amazing and makes us feel like family! Especially Noemi our butler who took care of our every need immediately, checked in with us every day multiple times. Andrea from food and beverage also repeatedly took care of whatever we needed. Jymmy from the entertainment was amazing too. Sweetie was always a pleasure at the ice cream shop. Alma at Tamarindo and Francisco at Capers treated us like royalty! Thank you familia, see you again soon.❤️

Staff at this resort are exceptional
The staff at this resort is amazing. However our butler, Naomi is absolutely spectacular. Naomi, “Thank You” for all that you do and for making our trip so very memorable! In addition to Naomi, who is my favorite, Francisco in the Italian restaurant, Daniel/Jonathan/Alejandro/Fernando on the pool deck are exceptional.

Jan 08, 2025Things changes in a year. Prices up and quality down
This was the second stay at Dreams Vallarta Bay and it was sure different from the first one! Since Dec 2023, the resort has come under new management and we could tell! The menu options have decreased and the quality of the food at the buffet has definitely gone down. Given that it is an “all inclusive” you would think it was all inclusive but it’s not; certain drinks now come with a price tag, if you can even get it. Most shots are not served in the bars now, such as mixed shots (Mexican candy, Scoob y Dos). We stayed on the Dreams side which is family oriented and we were ok with the kids enjoying their vacation too, but one thing we felt wasn’t right was the children in the pool sitting at the pool bar. At one point there was no room for anyone to approach the bar due to the kids hanging around it. It makes it impossible to order a drink when you’re trying to shout over noisy kids while treading water! Housekeeping came in one day only (per us). Our stay wasn’t long and we had enough supplies for two people. When they did finish with our room, the straw from my Stanley tumbler was missing. Odd. It was so odd I didn’t mention it because I thought it would sound crazy saying someone had taken my straw out of the mug!?! I found the mechanical noise in the room from the cooling unit very loud. It made it hard to sleep. We were on the main floor of the main building so maybe it was closer to the mechanical room. I was going to mention the noise when we checked out but we were left with two trainees that were struggling as it was and I didn’t want to add anymore to their plate The serving staff are incredible. At the morning buffet, we were waited on by Alejandro and Enriqueta who were attentive and so friendly. Our usual pool side servers were Alejandro, Jorge, Alberto, Christopher (sunglasses service) and I’m sorry if I’ve forgotten a couple others names. They are worth their weight in gold for what they do for that resort. If you do go to this resort, be on the look out for these instant friends that will make you feel at home and take the best care of you. It helps to get over the pain of missing Stanley straws and noisy rooms!
