Feb 27, 2026Breathtaking and relaxing. Beautiful ceremony. Priceless backdrops.
Our stay was AMAZING!!! The room, the SERVICE (butler Carlos was exceptional) , the restaurants (Ian and staff), and everything else. All very wonderful. We had a 20th anniversary vow renewal celebration and Livier Cortes was a great wedding coordinator! I really can’t say enough about this place or its staff. It was more than I could have dreamed it would be. Beautiful resort. Our photos look like the horizon and sunset were fake it was SO gorgeous!!!!

Amazing experience! Livier Cortes was incredible as our wedding planner!
What a wonderful stay and experience. The staff was absolutely top notch, very friendly and attentative to all our needs. We had a wedding there and the resort did a phenomenal job helping manage all of the guests and making it as stress-free of a wedding as you could hope for. Livier Cortes was our wedding planner, and she and her team went above and beyond anything we could've hoped for! She was in constant communication throughout the process, months before we were set to arrive. And when there, she was proactive in making sure all of our wants and needs were realized. I cannot recommend Livier Cortes enough, she was incredible! The resort, of course, was beautiful as well, and we even saw a turtle lay and bury it's eggs on the beach!

Wedding in Paradise
We visited PVR in February 2025 to look for a wedding venue for our 20th vow renewal. We fell in love with the resort. I wanted to give a huge shout out to Paloma (Wedding Group Sales Manager) and Karla (Weeding Coordinator). They helped us plan our dream wedding in December 2025. From beginning to end they were very communicative and easy to work with. I was such a last-minute planner but having them assist me through the wedding planning process; the end result was better than I've imagined. Karla was so patient and provided me all the information I needed. She went above and beyond for me and my guests. Dreams Vallarta Bay staff was so welcoming and provided us great hospitality. They definitely made our trip and wedding day a memorable one.

We stayed at Dreams Resorts & Spas Puerto Vallarta expecting a relaxing family vacation, but unfortunately our experience did not meet expectations. During our stay, the resort hosted back-to-back corporate events. This created noticeable congestion across the property — long food lines, crowded pools, busy elevators, and limited availability throughout the day. Several restaurants were closed or reserved specifically for those events, which further reduced options for regular guests. The entertainment and activities also appeared to be heavily tailored toward corporate groups. As a family traveling with a young child, we found the programming limited and, at times, quite boring. Overall entertainment felt weak compared to what we expected from a family-focused all-inclusive resort. Another disappointment was not being able to use amenities at the sister property, Secrets, due to its adults-only policy. While understandable, it reduced variety and made the resort feel more restrictive. Overall: This resort may work better for business events or corporate travel. However, based on our experience, we would not recommend it for a family vacation, particularly when large company events are taking place.

Great resort! Amazing staff! Beautiful beach! Highly recommend!! 5 star service! Would definitely visit this beautiful resort again in the future!
