  Absolutely lovely

  I have thoroughly enjoyed my week long stay at dreams Tulum. The room was spacious. Clean with a lovely balcony overlooking a courtyard with a fountain. Those pools are beautifully maintained and clean and gorgeous, and i've spent all day, every day in the pools. Both pools are just steps away from the beach. The beach is meticulously cleaned by staff to remove all the seaweed. Every day, so it stays clean and lovely. Staff go above and beyond to make everyone stay happy and fun. The food is amazing. There are free yoga lessons on the beach every morning. We were here for halloween and the Day of the Dead celebrations. In Mexico it's called Xibalba fest, and it was a three day extravaganza of the most wonderful and elaborate celebrations you can imagine. And so much to see you do and enjoy. I will definitely come back and bring my whole family with me next time!

  Secret Garden Wedding

  Overall my party of almost 40 had a good time. But.... these are just little things I would like to nit pick. I had my wedding at the resort and upon arrival we got up graded but in my humble opinion I don't think it is worth it to go out of your way for the upgrade or during my stay it wasn't worth it. Because the resort was under construction the only thing we had that the regular suites didn't was a swim up pool that was kind of dirty all the time with a private section outside our balcony/patio. I ended up spending my stay at the large pool instead because it felt weir to be the only ones using it . The Atmosphere was very lively and over all the resort is stunning and clean in the public areas. All of the public washrooms were impeccable, there was never any lineups anywhere and the resort never felt crowded. We were vacationing with nearly 40 people and one thing we really appreciated was that there were multiple locations where all of us could meet and play cards or chit chat around the resort. My husband and I have stayed at other dreams resorts and in some it was hard to even find place for 4 people to sit, play cards and have a drink that wasn't in the room. As for food it is very hit and miss. One night the Mexican restaurants food was delicious and we were all raving about it and the next it was sub par. But the drinks were always really good. In my stay I received a hair and make up trail for my wedding, I rented a bridal suite and my husband and I received a couples massage along with experiencing the hydro therapy. Starting with the hair, makeup and bridal suite - Overall the hair and make up was really well done I got what I asked for and am happy about it. However, the food that they asked me to select wasn't what I thought was going to be delivered. Everything I chose, I chose to be able to eat with make up/ lipstick. For instance, I thought that the burritos and the mini hamburgers were going to be bite sized burritos like hors d'overs or mini sliders but what came was full burritos and hamburgers. which is extremely hard to eat when also trying to preserve your make up so in the end I didn't get to eat until my reception. Also, because we got our makeup done first and the resort doesn't have straws we couldn't drink anything that was in the room either. Next, here wasn't any towels or soap in the bathroom in the suite. Lastly, on my wedding day I don't want to be worrying about payment. I would recommend to either bill the bride the evening before, at the trial or the day after. As for the couples massage and hydro therapy, I really liked having the massage before the hydro therapy. We have been to resorts that do it in the reverse order. The massage was really nice and the masseuse was really good. however, the wet sauna had a dirty musky odour with leaves and dirt on the ground. The shower outside the wet sauna was full of spider webs in the corners and looked quite dirty. we never tried the dry sauna because of it. Finally, the Polar plunge pool had snails in it. Finally, the actual wedding. It was truly an amazing day with the only hiccup was my own fault (we forgot something for the ceremony in our room). My wedding coordinator was a bit aloof leading up to our arrival but great once we got there and we had quite a few customizations to our wedding to which the staff adapted well. At the event, the food was some of the best we had all week. My only gripe is that the hotel was trying to bill us the last 20% of our wedding on the wedding day. I really wish this was done at our meeting upon our arrival, the day before, or the day after our wedding day. It was just something I didn't want to be stressing out about.

  A fantastic experience in Mexico.

  Wedding week with 68 people.

  We just spent a week here for our wedding with family and friends. Everyone had a blast. After visiting Mexico 10 times and our wedding being number 11 here is our review. Beach was beautiful well maintained, beautiful for walking collecting shells watching sun rise. Like everywhere on this coast line bring water shoes. for the ocean is on a reef and can be a little hard on feet in the water. Buffett was on par with other hotel Buffett’s kids had no issue eating and always something good to eat. The el la carts were awesome every restaurant we ate at I was very impressed with the food. Our room was always clean and well looked after. We loved the swim up room with kids and the room service with young kids was key. The hotel grounds were well kept. Always clean and tidy and well looked after. Only downfall was the amount of construction around the property as they are upgrading. Would love to come back when everything is operational I’m sure it’s awesome. Even with the construction the staff were doing their best and we had no issues. What we would have wanted was out of their control and will soon be completed. Wedding. Which is why we chose this resort. I looked at soo many hotels looking for what we found at dreams tulum. The secret garden and dreams garden was everything and more then we could have dreamed. It was like something out of a movie. The way everything came togather at the end was awesome. If planning a wedding here know what you want do your homework and be clear in explaining what you want. the rest Ilse Coyoc our wedding coordinator will take care of. I would recommend her any day. You do your part and she will do hers. Thank you again to dreams tulum for an awesome week for our wedding. Even in a construction zone they made our week perfect. Like everything in life you can look at a couple negative things but here they were so small and there was sooooo much good would highly recommended this hotel. @dreamstulum you can bring us back anytime would love to see it once complete and everything is open.   Visit when remodeling is done

  Many restaurants and specialties were closed due to remodeling. It seems it would look nice when it is done. People are nice, service is good and places are very clean
