Special Occasions at Dreams Sands.
We did the Preferred Club. It was well worth the money. We had our own preferred club, beach and a special beautiful pool. The snacks in the club and drinks were great. The bar tender and wait staff were so accommodating. We had a nice king balcony room. Love the balcony and the beautiful view. We enjoyed the nightly entertainment.

Second Trip to Dreams Sands, and it was even better than the first! We are going back this July with a party of 8!
Trip was amazing. Newly remodeled and beautiful, white clean beaches, great drinks, food, AMAZING service. Great location to go to street and shop. Room was very nice and clean every day! We had a bottle of Tequila delivered one evening, and a bottle bo champaign another from the resort. Shout outs to some of the staff that stood out. Juan in preferred bar on 1st floor was NEXT LEVEL bartender!. Fernando at preferred service on 1st floor was over the top with service. Surgio and Andres were amazing at the preferred beach service. All of the staff was top notch. One of the top resorts with Unlimited vacation club, Dreams, Hyatt! Until next time...

Service wasn’t 5 star!!!
Checkin was a nightmare. It took my bf and I hours to get a room even though we had paid and showed the person at the front desk confirmation for the booking. We were told that because it hadn’t gone through the system yet we could either pay again and (hopefully, maybe?) get a refund for the original or wait until 9 am the next day. We argued and he finally honored the emails and bank statements we were showing him but again, it took hours so the first night that we paid for felt like a complete waste and right off the bat, we were made to feel like liars and felt so unwelcomed for the money we were spending for our anniversary. Lobby is freezing and every restaurant is freezing too. There is no where to eat at night except cold restaurants (not ONE patio) or order a limited room service menu and then go to the beach. I didn’t pay 1000 Canadian for 2 nights to order burgers and pizzas and salads from room service so we sucked it up and wore sweaters to dinner instead of nice dresses and shirts. The service in the restaurant’s were very good though. The waiters at the steakhouse made us finally feel welcomed. Feels like for 500$ a night we were ignored for minor (but very reasonable) requests overall. We had a flood in our room the second night and someone did come to look and they said they will be back to clean it. We never heard back after that. We asked for a wake up call on our last morning and they called half hour later than requested because of some “service problem” and to be honest, that kind of sums up how we felt on this resort from a handful of workers. They said no to everything. It didn’t feel like a 5 star at all and it 100000% wasn’t worth what we paid. We were glad to leave, but again, there were some accommodating workers (like the friendly cleaners who always smiled and the bartenders were great). Our problem was at the check in and not getting our wake up call on time and not dealing with the flood and then not having basic food to eat like tacos and guacamole in the evenings. I’m not kidding when I say you either had to sit in the cold restaurants or order very limited room service and no gauc lol. Just go somewhere else. Recommend Dreams Vista Cancun Resort and Spa. Breathtaking resort. Gets a 10 star.

It was amazing! Great place to stay!!
May 25-29 Dreams Sands Resort and Spa Cancun The resort and its grounds are awesome. Yes the hotel is older as are most of the hotels in Cancun most have been there since my first trip in 1994. This property was last renovated in 2021/2022. The staff greeted us with “Welcome Home” which I love 💗 ! They took out luggage and we made it thru check very quickly then we were off to have lunch and begin our vacation. The beach was amazing as always not much seaweed and very clean. The rooms were clean and air conditioner was pretty good. I would have liked it colder but we were not hot by any means. Maid service was good. Now to the restaurants The World Cafe is a typical buffet for both breakfast and lunch. But lots of choices and all were good temps. Portofino’s we only ate salad and minestrone soup as we were wanting the eggplant parmigiana which they had taken off the menu. Disappointed Gaucho Grill we did not eat either as we wanted the lobster Mac n cheese which is no longer on their menu either. Al Patio we did not go to for dinner. However we went every morning as this is where the preferred breakfast was served. Wait staff Angel and Jose were awesome. And Salvador came in and made my last breakfast amazing with salsa he brought me from Olio for my egg scramble. And at lunch he was so sweet to cut up my fresh mango I purchased at the store to eat before we departed. Extra mile award to him right there! Olio was amazing every day for us at lunch thanks to Julian! He remembered me from my visits prior which always is a plus for a guest. This restaurant also had removed some items I had longed for but Julian was able to remake the salad as close as he could and it was delicious. Eric was also very kind and responsive. Hitjusu was our favorite from the first night Yemile was the hostess and was very helpful making reservations for us and making sure we were satisfied at every restaurant she worked every day we were there. So nice. The hibachi table was awesome Chef Gerardo, seu Chef Alan, wait staff Marcos also remembered me from past visits. Eric was great on our last night. And Chef Gerardo cut up my mango the last night and brought it back to my table cut and on a stick like a flower with Tajin!! I was so excited!! Beach bar staff Misael and Andreas were Awesome and on it!! Happy and upbeat every day!! We were sad to leave. The hostess Laura was one of my favorites from the first day she remembered my name and my room number. Makes your heart happy! Brandon at the preferred desk helped us with our every need. And my friend Lydia in the VIP department checked on us as well even at the beach to make sure we were taken care of. So nice to make friends here from our stays. It becomes like a second family! And lastly to Chef Concierge Sarah THANK YOU most of all to the for making our stay from the beginning exceptional and checking in on us every day to make sure we were having a good time. All I ask is bring back clam chowder, the strawberry and feta salad for lunch, eggplant parmigiana and lobster Mac n cheese by time I get back!!!😁🌴❤️

Sofi is the best
I had an amazing time at the Dreams Sands Resort! The staff was awesome and very friendly and accommodating. Especially Sofi. She was the best and made our time there even better! The experience would not have been the same without her!
