  10/10 Recommend - Perfect Family Getaway!

  Our family of four (two daughters ages 11 and 13) returned to Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana for five nights in October 2026, and we had an incredible experience! The weather was perfect, and the resort was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. We’ve stayed at multiple Dreams Resorts in Mexico (Cancun and Tulum), and this one was by far the best. FOOD – The food was consistently fresh and delicious across all restaurants, and there were plenty of spots to grab a drink throughout the day. We did not pay for the Preferred upgrade, which offers additional dining options, but honestly never felt we were missing out. The World Café buffet, a Dreams signature, was smaller than others we’ve experienced—which we loved, as it didn’t feel like a crowded cafeteria. BEACH & POOLS – The beach was incredible! It’s huge, with plenty of shaded and sunny loungers always available. There’s a large stretch of soft sand before the water begins—perfect for playing or relaxing. The water was shallow, warm, and clean, and staff worked diligently to clear seaweed each morning. You can walk for miles in either direction, and while beach vendors regularly approached us, they were never bothersome. We also appreciated that the beach was well-lit at night, which added both ambiance and security. The multiple pool options were equally great—clean, warm, and never overcrowded. ENTERTAINMENT – The nightly entertainment was fun and varied. The main shows began at 9pm, but there were always opening acts and interactive performances starting around 8pm. Daily activities were plentiful for all ages. HOTEL – While there was some ongoing construction, it was never disruptive. The resort’s size (about 350 rooms) was ideal—easy to navigate, and no need for elevators. We also appreciated that staff were friendly and professional without being pushy about upgrades or timeshare presentations. TRANSFERS – We booked private airport transfers directly through HQT and highly recommend them—affordable, safe, reliable, and seamless from start to finish. AIRPORT – The Punta Cana Airport was a pleasant surprise: small, uncrowded, and easy to navigate. Overall, beautiful core memories were made at this gem of a resort. We can’t wait to return for a third time! 🌴

  Top notch experience!

  The individuals that we have met are so warm, kind, and welcoming. Everything was perfect for our family of 4 and first international trip with our two young boys. We will be coming again. Our butler was exceptional. Food concierge was so helpful with my dietary needs. The grounds were well maintained, clean, and beautiful. The gym is gorgeous. The Little Explorers Club is clean, fun, and the team is amazing. My boys were begging to go back everyday. We can not wait to return!!

  High quality service a few things to improve.

  Great place, beautiful views and good facilities, you can tell that majority of people working there want to help you, with a few exceptions that you can find along a week stay. Variety of options for dining and places to relax, the water park is amazing if you go with friends and want to go back to childhood moments. The beach is not as nice as other areas of punta cana because of the seaweed, however you can still swim and relax. Special mention to David from the bar at the infinity pool. Some little attention to details could be improved, for example if the do not disturb sign is on the door, they could leave some water bottles outside, when they come to make your room they should double check all the shower amenities are refilled, etc. sometimes you don’t feel like calling them for small things like this. David you made our holiday special, always willing to prepare our drinks with a nice smile, with a small talk even if you were super busy working almost by yourself in certain occasions.

  Amazing Stay

  We had a wonderful time at the Dreams. Our concierge Marcelo was on the ball, consistently checking in and making sure us and our whole family was happy. We will definitely be back

  Great week at Dreams Royal Beach

  Just got back from a week at Dreams Royal Beach with my best friend and we had a great stay. We were greeted with champagne and a cold towel when we arrived, and check in was easy. The lobby is beautiful. Our room was big and very clean, with two beds, a couch area, double sinks in the bathroom, and robes and slippers which was a nice touch. The beds were super comfy and there were so many pillows, we slept great every night. Room service was fast and the food was really good, we ordered in a couple times and were never disappointed. For food, the buffet has a big selection and something for everyone. Seaside Grill was a highlight, I had the ribeye and it came with a sauce in a bowl for dipping that was amazing, it really made the steak. The Mexican restaurant was so good we went back a second night. Fusion was a favourite too, I ate there three times. The pork gyoza were amazing and the kung pao chicken was great with a little kick. A huge shoutout to Esteban and Baby Face from the entertainment team, they kept the energy up all week and made every day fun. And Wilkin, our pool waiter for the week, was awesome. He took such great care of us and always made sure we were set. People like them are the reason you come back. Would absolutely return.
