Tired
I was one of a group of 20 golfers that stayed a week at Dreams Cabo. Having stayed at other Dreams properties, I had high expectations that were promptly crushed. Knowing there was a group coming, there was no attempt to bring addition staff for check in so this took forever. The room was disappointing...sand on the floor and no hot water. The hot water situation went on for a couple of days until FINALLY after numerous calls, someone came to take a look. Food at the restaurants was slow to come and when it did, it was cold. It seemed that they were short on staff. The golf around the area was good.

Great staff, location and hotel.
This is a very beautiful resort staffed by highly competent and friendly people. I do notice Hyatt is cheapening the brand and doing their best to strangle it. It's not the Dreams prior to their acquisition of AM Resorts but it still hits the mark quite nicely. The beer selection is ridiculous. Tecate ! Really? The food, although not bad, is not very inspiring but overall vibe is great and it's a resort I would recommend and return to.

Dreams Cabo
Good overall experience at the resort. Disappointed with the pressure of the no pressure “Welcome Breakfast” - Left a sour taste to start the vacation! Rebounded with very good dining and overall service. Great couples massage from Yaritza & Joselyn. Excellent service from Adal at Portofino.

Short Golf / Beach Vacation
Resort itself is OK, but the service from the very friendly staff makes it a fun vacation. Food in the restaurants is typically a little bland but we did have 2 good meals in Bordeaux.. Location is a bit of a disappointment as it is mid-way between San Jose ( Old Town) and Los Cabos (Marina ). $25 US taxi ride each way, Sandy beach runs for miles in both directions but walking is diffcult due to the depth of loose sand and the slope. Also ocean swimming not allowed due to undertow. However, two large pools at the resort - one is adults only - compensate. Decent golf in the area. Several courses to choose from.

Careful
Don't get hooked by the Hyatt timeshare garbage. Upper management always looking for the extra $$$$. Not young kid oriented as Dreams are noted for. Restuarants and servers were great and attentive. Breakfast buffet and chefs were delightful and pleasing.
