Was pretty good. Wait was not long at restaurants which previous reviews said. Food was good. Was easy to get beach chairs. Lovely beach walks. Not much to do in evening but we were there in low season of October. Nice and clean and service was very good. App. Was very useful to use.

Nov 02, 2026Nice resort 45 minutes from Mazatlán
The resort is a beautiful property with ocean views everywhere you go. Easy to walk around and not too big or too small. Food was average at best and we visited every restaurant. Food was barely warm when served and several of our server staff couldbarely speak English, which caused issues with our orders at Oceana and Meraki. Service is also slow but we were on vacation so that didn't bother us too much. The exception to the mediocre food and restaurant service was breakfast at World Café. The hostess Itandewi knew us by name by our 2nd day and we looked forward to seeing Sandra at the omelette station every morning! Sandra was always smiling and very quick to recommend different omelet and scrambled egg options every time. She is the only food service employee that we tipped all week! Overall service was excellent especially Leo at the Preferred Lounge and Herman at the Preferred Pool. Pools were well-maintained and had beautiful views, plenty of chairs and umbrellas. Rooms were spacious and cleaned well every day, with the minibar being a stocked with our preferred drinks daily. Property cleanliness outside needs improvement. A lot of standing water in hallways and walking areas, smoking area was a mess every morning and wasn't cleaned until around 10 AM every day. Lots of crumbling stucco and loose bricks all over the property too. Seemed much older than 2 years. We would probably not stay here again due to the distance to Mazatlán being a 45 minute drive. For a resort getaway, this is a decent choice as long as you just want to stay on the property and not explore Mazatlán.

Our new sneaky favorite Dreams/Secrets Resort!! Staff is very friendly & helpful!! The fact that the resort is 10 minutes away from the airport is a HUGE selling factor for us too!! Every single room is close to the beach and has beautiful view of the ocean.
