Fabulous Experience at Dreams Dominicus La Romana!
We spent an amazing week at this resort. The beach is actually breathtaking and did not have any seaweed in site! The Preferred club is the way to go - we had a swim out room as well that we thoroughly enjoyed. The rooms are spacious, the resort is nice sized without feeling too big. Plenty of food and bar options throughout and we also ordered room service multiple times which we enjoyed eating a burger right next to our (semi) private pool. Staff is warm and friendly, very welcoming. The spa is worth the trip as well!

Lovely holidays
It was our second time staying in this hotel and we enjoyed it. Ada, our concierge for room 51111, was absolutely wonderful throughout our stay. She was always kind, attentive, and very professional, making sure everything ran smoothly from check-in to check-out. Her warm smile and genuine care made us feel truly welcome, turning our Dominican Republic vacation into an unforgettable experience.

Things to Know
First of all it was great travel experience. My family and I travel once a year to new locations to see where the best place is for us. This was definitely up there. With its great beaches and cleanliness along with the good food. However when picking your food be careful of seafood. In every resort we’ve visited the sea food is always a little iffy, Im not saying don’t eat it just be careful. The rooms were also very nice. Showers were a little cold could work on that. Also need places to hang clothes instead of the edge of the balcony and close line in the shower. Those are really the only two complaints I can make. I would recommend this resort to family’s and small groups. Not for couples as there are a number of kids throughout the resort. One last thing is the music, people always complain it’s to loud which I agree but it’s there culture and you can go to places where the music is significantly quieter. Thanks for a great stay Dreams!

Wonderful escape from Cold Canada
We just returned from our vacation ( April 4-11). FIRST we must mention our concierge/ butler- Ada. She is an absolute DOLL! She helped us without delay right from day one!! She has the most beautiful personality and is perfectly suited for this line of work. I hope this resort recognizes the jewel they have in Ada. We were very happy with our visit to Dreams Dominicus. The hotel is absolutely spotless! The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The only place we saw a bit of difference was at the main buffet. We often had to wait an extended amount of time for coffee #2 in the morning ( even though we were very early) or there was an instance where my husband was literally reaching for an item on his plate and the waiter reached over picking up the plate at the same time to take it away ( without asking if we were done) There were a few staff members that always seemed to appear indifferent. Selection of food for breakfast is outstanding 👌 lunch a little less so, but you will never go hungry. We enjoyed the a la carte restaurants ESPECIALLY the Italian Portafino, and the French Bordeaux... The beach: beautiful!! Just watch for the slight incline as you enter the ocean. We were Preferred Club. We found it was VERY easy for anyone to gain access to the preferred section of the beach. The preferred restaurant on the beach? No obviously, as they ask your room number. But perhaps a better way of correcting this issue may be needed? Beautiful to be able to have breakfast and lunch right on the beach! The staff are very attentive at this restaurant. There is one " quiet" pool on the main resort. Well its supposed to be. It was constantly over run with loud / screaming children throwing their pails etc. We have no issue with children or them enjoying their vacation. But there are 2 other LARGE pools they can use. It would be wonderful if perhaps signage was put up indicating QUIET POOL. Just to have one spot where we can relax, and listen to the beautiful spa like music that bar played daily. The nightly entertainment team work hard. The highlight of the week for us was the fire/ water show. DONT MISS THIS! Our room: we booked the Preferred Club Master Suite Swim out. Beautiful room, over 1000 sq feet. Spotlessly cleaned daily. Check out as a Preferred Club Member can be done the evening before. This was a wonderful and helpful option to have. Overall, a restful, fun break from the cold in Canda. This resort is definitely a family friendly resort!
