Don't hesitate and book it!
My family of nine stayed for five days, and we had a fantastic time. The resort was beautiful. It is located on a lovely beach that has good snorkeling spots. We had the all-inclusive package, and it did not disappoint. The staff was excellent; special mentions to Joshua, Jaymy, and Loui at the Salty Iguana, Jonil and Razil at C-Spice, Sherille, Fred, Laudi, Adrian at Zala and Izakaya, and Edmond, Paul, and Jodie at amenities and room service. You guys have brought that exceptional Filipino hospitality to the resort, making our stay extra special. Attentive service with a smile! We truly appreciate it, and we highly recommend this resort. Tip: Bring water shoes to enjoy the beach and snorkeling spots as they are rocky.
Not worth the price
While this resort would be absolutely beautiful, it lacks in customer service quite a bit. We can’t seem to get the basic necessities on a regular basis - toilet paper, tissues, clean towels, etc. The pool often doesn’t have clean towels available and says they haven’t received the laundry yet. Shower at the pool has been broken all week. We’ve called housekeeping 2 times to try and get clean towels and it’s been over 2 hours. When I spoke to the front desk Manager she wasn’t even remotely apologetic and was going to give us pool towels and didn’t even have those available. I would say for the lack of service, this resort is extremely overpriced! Very disappointed!
Not the same
We fell in love with curaçao last year, so we opted to come again this year. We decided to stay at the marriot beach resort again because we had an amazing experience. Sadly, it’s not quite the same this year. Since we arrived we’ve had to call everyday to get standard supplies that should be replenished daily like shampoo, soap, coffee cups etc. Marriot has been having supply issues with towels so those also are not replenished regularly. And when the towels come (sometimes they don’t) they smell like fried food. The pillows smell like old cologne likely haven’t been washed for the next guest. I’m hoping marriot will step up their game as we have a few days left to relax. So far it hasn’t been as relaxing as last year.
Beautiful property and friendly staff!
The entire staff was friendly. Rooms were very clean. Stephanie the front office supervisor is very pleasant. She welcomed us like we were family even though we only stayed one night cause the rest of the group came in the next day so we had to move to another hotel. The pool stays open 24 hours. Kendrick and Bryan were very helpful as well with storing and retrieving our luggage and getting my sister a wheelchair. If I visit again I will definitely booked my entire stay here and not next door.
This is one of the best resorts! It’s small with many features. The water is perfect. The staff is beyond amazing. I am unable to name them all but there are a few who made the week beyond amazing!
