Ervin for president
Beautiful little hotel, very शांत and peaceful, yet the entertainment is excellent and the staff is top-notch! Above all, the hotel’s greatest asset is Ervin—charismatic, respectful, and funny. Not quite as good as me at volleyball, but I taught him well 😅 Thank you for this wonderful week at Dreams!

We want to come back next week!
Everything was perfect for us. Excellent value, the staff spoiled us rotten. I have read reviews describing the buffet menu as limited. Actually, if you want to eat what you eat in the USA or Canada, indeed the choices might not be as extensive. The choices of authentic local fare are outstanding. Creative desserts. Attentive service. Shout out to the World Cafe Staff: Yanely always found the perfect table for us. Virginia did an excellent job in the evening. The waiters were all gracious and prompt. Antonio, Francisco, Amado, Angel, Carolina, Julio. Catalina made the check in a breeze. If you want a good chair on the beach, be there very early. Our server on the beach was also outstanding (should have noted her name.) Wish there were some English language channels on TV (says the guy that tells people they should embrace the local fare.) Be aware that when there are cruise ships in town, you might not be able to get a cab at the hotel, so book your trip back to the Airport ahead of time. The room was well maintained, the bed was good. Learn how to adjust the AC.

Beautiful Resort and amazing staff- The pizzeria was amazing
All rooms are preferred, which means you had full access to Secrets and the food was AMAZING. Cancun Adventures picks you up right at the secrets dock for tours. The pier in front of Secrwtswas wonderful.

Quiet, calm, and easy
This is a nice, quiet resort even with families everyone was very respectful, it was a great environment for all to enjoy. The check-in process was great, we really liked how the bell-staff took everyone's name and held the queue so you didn't have to stand around and could go to the buffet or bar instead. Please note, for those with mobility issues the taller buildings do have elevators, and they were quick, so this made it easy and convenient. The rooms were fairly basic, but clean and everything worked. The housekeeping staff visit daily, and replenish the bar fridge and snacks (M&Ms and Pringles). Would like to have some hard liquor in the room to mix, but I could always get some from a bar, so that's on me. Loved the balcony and view of the sunset each night. Beds were huge and comfortable, shower was massive, and TV was a good size as well. Small cosmetic issues were starting to show the age of the room, but overall very good accommodations. The coffee shop only opened for 7am, which was a bit late in my opinion especially if you get there after day light savings time and used to waking up at 6. While the coffee there was good, they did not have a working ice cream machine. The number of beach chairs was a bit lacking, but honestly if they moved the volleyball net down they could have squeezed in a bunch more close to the beachfront bar. It wasn't terrible by any stretch, we always got good seats, but I did get up early. You could also go down to Secrets as well, and we did that a few times, but preferred the lunch at Dreams, so stayed there. The beach is rough getting into the water, but sandy on land and around chairs. Don't let this discourage you though, get some water shoes and a snorkle and mask, and it's by far the best snorkeling from any resort I've been to. It was actually a really good way to get refreshed as the ocean was clear and clean. There's virtually no sea weed (sargassum) here as the beach faces the mainland. If you're Canadian, please bring Pesos. No sense paying to convert to USD, just for the staff to convert again to Pesos. That being said... I found it very discouraging when I ran out of smaller denominations and the front desk couldn't break my bigger bills. Make sure to get lots of 20's and 50's before going. Being able to use Secret's services was great. The Asian restaurant (Gohan) was the best, but beware you cannot book the Hibachi grill if you stay at Dreams. We took a snorkeling tour by booking with the dive shop at Dreams and it was good, the boat picked us up at the nearby pier and saved on time to get to the reef. The price was also better than than other services like those through Air Canada etc. but basically the same thing without taxi to downtown and longer boat ride. The resort next door is under construction but not really a big deal. I do wish they would have temporarily extended the walkway instead of making you walk in beach sand for a short distance. Overall it was a good stay, it was last minute due to Cuba cancellations, but will possibly consider a return once the resort next door is done.

Food & diving
Very small resort with friendly staff. They really don't have a dive shop on site as advertised. Food quality was very bad with the exception of the nightly taco stand which was outstanding.
