Lovely location right on a quiet sandy beach; very little sea weed and the sea was fab. Great for long beach walks. $20 dollars for a taxi to the town of Cozumel. Stayed in a swim up room, spacious and nicely decorated. Didn't really need the swim up as the pool was right next door to it but a nice touch. Newest area just been built was for Preferred guests only so I'd request rooms here. Always find hotel spas expensive so didn't use this. Had an adjoining door to our bedroom which allowed a lot of noise from next door to travel through; so definitely would look out for this.

Very disappointing stay. I normally don't write reviews nor pay much attention to them. But this resort was extremely lacking in the experience we are used to at a Dreams Resort. Food selection was lacking any variety and quality. As Preferred we also had access to Secrets. 2 of their restaurants were closed for renovations ( and I get that needs to be done) but I cannot understand why both resorts buffets would be closed on the same night, with one of them serving taco's only. Staff is GREAT and extremely friendly, grounds are beautiful, the problem is with the management of the resort. It definetly does not live up to the Dreams experience we have had at other Dreams resort. Book another location

Oct 17, 2026Family Fall Break a Success 2026
Our family was welcomed to the property by an excited cast. The activities were fun and the food was good. Ana Anita ran the Explorer’s club on site for children and stole our little Amelie’s heart and taught her Spanish and filled hours every day with fun kids activities and we felt great when she was under Ana’s care. Temo and Wendy made the days activities fun and interesting especially on rainy days when the sun was t out. Highly recommended especially for a family trip.

Master preferred FTW
10/14/26 I was moved from the Secrets property next door to a wonderful room on the Dreams side of the property where everything is modern and new with no construction. My room is quiet, I can hear the ocean, and the beach is clean and beautiful. The employees have been extremely gracious and have been going out of their way to make sure I am having a relaxing vacation. Salvador has made every moment that we are here pleasant and anticipates all of our needs.

Blue Water Grill Cozumel
We recently returned from a trip to the Dreams Cozumel Cape Resort and Spa. One of the highlights of our visit was having the opportunity to dine at the Bluewater Grill. The supervisor Rosanna coordinated her staff to perfection and waiters Angel, Francisco and Luis worked to address our individual needs. Our Hostess , Barbara was superb and an angel in disguise for us. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and all of our dining requests were met. She even coordinated an anniversary dinner for us that was a total surprise for us. A total pleasure for our stay while there.
