Exceptional Guest Services and Location
We had low expectations in trying to check-in six hours early. But we tried. When first it appeared there were no rooms available, Bernice, asked us to wait while she went up stairs to check. Within minutes, Bernice delivered the great news that our room was ready. We were thankful, because our family members were waiting at a nearby restaurant, which brings me to the ideal location of the hotel. Walking distance to no less than 50 incredible restaurants, and of course, the entertainment that makes the French Quarter like no other place in the world. And the locals make all the difference. Proud of their city and welcoming to the guests that respect what the people and the city have to offer. We enjoyed some great music and people watching, but soon it was time to check out. Bernice greeted us that morning and made sure our luggage was tagged so that we could enjoy one last dining experience- this time at nearby Justine’s. Excellent. We highly recommend this centrally located Courtyard, and we wish to extend our special appreciation to Bernice, for going above and beyond to make our experience exceptional.

Superior service
The guest service staff here was outstanding. Bernice and Jada in guest services helped with booking tours and were highly accommodating during my stay. Great location and immaculate facility. Highly recommend this place!

Solid Choice
This Courtyard was the first hotel that I would end up staying in during my trip to NOLA. I had a Queen room with an atrium view, which was decently-sized for one person. It would be a bit of a squeeze with two people, but you can make it work if you’re not in your room too much. I arrived around 10am and they were able to get me into a room, which was much appreciated. They also had water bottles at the front desk that I definitely took advantage of during my 3 day stay. I want to say it’s because I’m a Gold member, but who knows. The location of the hotel is great - it’s just close enough to the French Quarter that you can be there within 5-10 minutes, but not so close that it’s super noisy at night. I never felt unsafe walking to/from the FQ by myself, as a solo female traveler. The rooms were clean and I did not ask for room cleaning during my 3 day stay. Late check out as a Bonvoy Gold member was honored and very much appreciated. They held onto my bags as well so I could go out and grab some lunch and last minute souvenirs before my flight home. Front desk staff was always super nice and very helpful. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at the Courtyard and would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s visiting NOLA.

Robbed within 24 hours
Do not leave any valuables in your room. Within 24 hours of checking in, someone went in my room while we were out and went through our stuff... and they stole 240$. The manager did nothing. The customer service rep did nothing. I had to speak to a supervisor who told me I had to call the police before they helped me. I called the police at 7:00 pm and they called me back the next morning at 8:00 am. After the police was called, I asked the supervisor to transfer me hotels as we did not feel safe. We were transferred to another hotel... we did not receive any discount or anything else. We were charged for all our stays and even had to pay a small premium when we transferred hotels as it was more expensive. It was a horrible way to start our trip... We had to use our credit cards which wasn't planned, we didn't feel safe and it impacted the rest of our trip. The rooms are not as clean as the images portray. The room we stayed in felt dated. We booked a hotel room with 1 queen bed for my wife and I... When we got there, there were two beds in our room... The highlight of our stay was the gentleman named Ben at the reception who gave great customer service and he was very welcoming. If a manager reads, this I opened a case with customer service...

Safe and cost effective lodging in the French Quarter in New Orleans
Great location in the French Quarter where everything is within walking distance. Rooms are a bit tired looking but comfortable. Bathrooms are functional but need an upgrade. Transportation to/from airport/hotel is most cost effective using taxis, which charge a standard rate of $36. Uber is more expensive at around $45.
