Thank you:)
Lovely balcony. Rooms are a bit outdated. But - Staff are all super pleasant welcoming and friendly! Ashley checked me in and the bartender (forgot to get his name was also very friendly and made the recommendation for Frenchman St festivities. They are all hardworking associates who make it their mission to welcome all guest.

DO NOT USE THE VALET
DO NOT USE THE VALET SERVICE!! My family stayed one night as we were passing through New Orleans. We parked our car with the Valet and left the next morning. My ray ban sunglasses were in my center console and were missing when we left. We spoke with the valet manager and the hotel manager and got no answers. After being persistent I was handed off to the property manager of the parking garage. They looked at the videos in the garage and confirmed my car was not broken into but swear that the people working there are good people, and would never do anything like that. The property manager told me he would replace my sunglasses and mail me a new pair. Its been 3 months and I've never received anything. I also repeatedly tried to call and email the District manager. I never received a call back or a reply to any of my emails. I'm completely disgusted with Marriott for how this situation was not handled. Definitely won't be going back.

Enjoyable
Really enjoyed our stay, we had a few hiccups with booking but the staff went above and beyond to fix it and we even got complimentary breakfast. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms not overly big, but were fine for our stay. We had an inner room and it could get noisy if staying on a busy night.

Decent for the price
The staff was pleasant. The rooms were quite small and a little dusty. With a deep clean it could match the usual setup of the brand. The bartender was great. Please be sure to have everything you need if using an airline vacation package.

Do Not Stay Here
Worst hotel in many years and I travel a lot. First, nice people, but ends there. The stay: 1. VERY loud all through the night, don't count on getting much sleep. The center of the hotel is completely open to all floors, so there is nothing that prevents the noise of groups of people coming in at all hours from partying. The doors have a big gap at the bottom so trying to stuff towels underneath won't work. People streamed in very loudly and laughed talking about the evening every 20 minutes til 4am. 2. "We won't bother you unless you want us to bother you". I couldn't stop laughing at how pathetic this was as an excuse for not having standard room cleaning. This is their line when you come back to your room at 9pm having worked all day to find a messy room with no clean towels. The won't bother cleaning your room unless you get on the list to have it cleaned. 3. $36 for breakfast. Bagel sandwich, fruit, 2 small OJ bottles. 4. Many rooms don't have windows. 5. They won't upgrade you if you are gold elite, even to a room with a window. 6. There was a loud dorm room fridge......right next to the head of your bed just sitting on the floor. I had to unplug it and shove it into the closet which then wouldn't close just to have a little room next to the bed. 7. The room was incredibly small. 8. The card key stopped working for my colleague, twice. The second time it took 45 minutes to get into the room to get his computer, then he had to take a $45 Uber to get to the meeting as the rest of of had to leave. 9. Chair in the room was filthy. No place to put your bags so I probably did what everyone else did and use it for my bag. 10. No security. No key card needed to access elevator. Many homeless and drunk people walking/sleeping outside. Anyone can access the floors with the rooms.
