Treated like a queen
The hotel staff were very helpful if there was a they fixed it immediately! Needed some towels they were there with in seconds. The staff at coffee shop made the best coffee white chocolate mocha ever. THe bartenders had the best advice on where to go. Highly recommend this location because we walked everywhere. They even welcomed our pup shiner. Thanks y’all.

Not Fancy But Clean
I read so many reviews before I left for my trip that I was a little nervous about staying here. Everyone we met that worked here was extremely nice and friendly. We had a room with a side street view no balcony. The only balcony is on the 2nd floor, we were on the 3rd floor. There is no cleaning service for the week but they gave us plenty of clean towels and I asked for a blanket and they gave it to me. The bathroom is small. I am suggesting that if anyone from Courtyard is reading this that you use Steel Wool 0000 to get the rust off of the chrome rack that the towels sit on in the shower of room 309. Also, the top drawer on the dresser that the TV sits on slides out by itself. I am going to suggest that you put a few shims underneath it and that will keep it from sliding out. There was not a fence around the hotel like I read in a previous review. It was close enough to walk to several restaurants and to the Bourbon street area. The taxi from the airport to the hotel was $36 but do not ask to hotel to call a taxi for you because the taxi will charge you an extra $7. So going back to the Airport was $43. One of the other Reviews said that they did not feel safe, that was not the case for us. We had an idea of how that area of New Orleans would be so we saw some homeless people laying on the street but we never felt unsafe and we are in our 60's. The lobby door was locked at night so we used our key and there were two men at the desk each night.

Second stay better than first
Stayed in a Balcony double with 2 sons, room was ok. brought dog but not a great area for him to walk. Fairly convenient to French quarter across Canal St although lots of homeless in the area. Service was ok, breakfast was fair. Generally not as nice as most Courtyards.

Clean, Great Location and Friendly Staff
A colleague and I were in NOLA for a conference and landed at this hotel due to rates being incredibly reasonable for a five night stay. It is centrally located, super walkable to just about anything and we loved that a Starbucks, Cafe Beignet and the Trolley stop were just steps away. The front desk staff are ALL incredibly friendly and welcoming. Even with navigating a slew of check-in's they were all very pleasant. I have status with Marriott, so I was able to check into my room at 2PM. My colleague was not able to check in until roughly 4:30PM so be aware of the 4PM check-in. I imagine if they are short staffed, like the rest of the planet, that would account for even the delay in getting in your room by 4. I had a King room, that was plenty big, clean and well decorated with everything in working order. My sleep quality was amazing, the AC worked great and the beds/pillows were dreamy. My colleague did mention that his room was much smaller than mine, but comfortable. We had a drink at the bar one evening that was deliciously made; plenty of signature NOLA cocktails to choose from. We were in and out of the hotel over 5 days and never had any negative experience. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again!

Clean hotel close to the French quarter
Stayed here for 3 nights. Very close to the tram stops and easy walking distance of the river. Comfy beds and plenty of piping hot water. Some rooms only had showers, some baths. The bar looked inviting although we didn’t use it. The hotel put breakfast on especially as we were on a tour of 34. This was ok.Nothing special
