Great Experience from Start to Finish!!!

Coconut Bay Resort was a great time!! I highly recommend visiting the resort. My group was three married couples that stayed on the harmony side. Each couple had a room on the 3rd floor. They were welcoming all the way from meeting the shuttle at airport. We appreciate the concierge helping set up everything when we first arrived. The rooms were nice and well taken care of each day. Each room was cleaned and restocked twice a day if needed. The layout of the resort was great. Food and drinks were spaced out everywhere so things weren't too far away no matter where you may be during the day. The beach bar was probably our favorite place to visit. It was very relaxing and it was where we first met our favorite bartender Kerry. He was excellent!! He was very friendly, attentive, and personable!! Dillion and Holder were also great! With drinking being a popular thing with our group. It was nice to have bartenders that were friendly and would make sure the resort experience met our expectations. Some of our favorite things was the silent dance party, trivia, and the girls had amazing massages. The jerk house was top of our list for food, but all the food places had good options for everybody. We hope to be back in the near future!!

Warning !!! Got Scabies at this resort

Warning !!!!! Scabies Got scabies here. Horrible. Never had this hell before. Contacted resort they ignored me. They don’t clean and place is very dirty. Unfortunately I only come on here when something is wrong. Been to so many great places. All I can say is don’t boom your vacation here. I lost track of all the things that made this one of the worst resorts I have been too. But the number one reason, it is dirty, dirty.

    I love my Coconut Besties!

My husband and I visited Coconut Bay for the third time this year at Christmas…. I have written a review previously however I wanted to specifically give a shout out to the staff who are awesome and made our Christmas absolutely perfect. Dillon, Zania and Ruby on the adults pool bar are awesome, they keep the drinks flowing and are always up for a laugh and chat. Dillon and Zania made sure that Christmas morning was an absolutely ball getting everyone involved - it was a great atmosphere! I have never been a fan of Christmas, certainly not in the UK with all the stress and mental-ness that seems to go with it, but I loved it! Skeet and Denver who both work in the buffet restaurant and outside on the theme nights are both absolute stars and go above and beyond to give great service. Christmas night was very busy but they both made an effort to wish us a Merry Christmas. I am sure they would have preferred to have been home with their families on Christmas but you could not tell one bit, they were full of the festivities along with us. Jedi, at the lobby bar, kept a close eye on us in an evening and always made sure we never sat for long without a drink - thank you Jedi 😊 Last, but certainly not least, Mary D and Shekina. Mary D cooks the most phenomenal omelets and loves a good chat about premier league football whilst she is busy cooking you a fab breakfast! Shekina greets you for breakfast (and lunch) and is always upbeat and smiling. She has time for everyone and is such a joy, asking how you are and making sure you have everything you need. I miss these two lovely ladies very much 😥 they made the start of every day perfect. If you got out of bed on the wrong side these two will certainly put you right! Our trip before Christmas was in the summer months and I said I wouldn’t go again in the summer because it is too hot and humid for me BUT we cannot wait to go back and have already booked again to go back in August! Do I need to say more!

    Great honeymoon location!

We had a great time at Coconut Bay for our Honeymoon. The resort is smaller so it’s very easy to get around and the staff is very accommodating. Shoutout to our favorite bartender, Ersking “The King.” He had a cold drink waiting for us every night and we loved his energy. One of our favorite parts of this resort was the food - very authentic and fresh. The Coconut Walk serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and each meal was always something new. On Tuesdays they have a country night on the pool deck with a large BBQ feast - delicious! For dinner reservations we did Calabash, Silk, and Trattoria. Silk was our favorite so we dined there twice, but Calabash was a close second. Trattoria is Italian and we weren’t the biggest fans, but they did have great service. To escape the bustle of the morning breakfast rush, we did dine at the Adults Only Veranda for breakfast and it was nice. The only negative for their dinner locations is reservations have to be made Atleast 1 day in advance and things fill up quick. Would have been nice to make all reservations when we checked in since some restaurants aren’t open each day. The adults only Harmony side was fantastic and very quiet with great lounging chairs. The rooms were ok, nothing special but we did appreciate the large space and dual closets. We highly recommend the all day Land and Sea excursion - it’s fun to experience the west side of the island. The east side where Coconut Bay is located is VERY windy at all times, but we didn’t mind as it kept the humidity down. The airport is less than 5 minutes away, so it was a breeze getting there. Overall we had a wonderful experience and will recommend to anyone wanting a lower cost St Lucia iptipm

    17th visit and Still Amazing!

Another amazing vacation at Cbay. 17th visit. 5 weeks. Christmas and New Years. Obviously being 17th visit, says how much I love this resort. They treat you like family. Being in the sun for Christmas holidays is a wonderful experience. Christmas is a more quiet day. Santa arrives on the beach, then tours the resort. BUT New Year's Eve celebration is amazing. The lobby is filled with food stations, lots of fresh seafood. Due to fish allergy, I can't have that, but they made me a separate plate. Wonderful. It is a party atmosphere for the whole family. The best part is the outstanding fireworks at midnight. It was over 11 minutes long and mind blowing. So many "Ohs and Ahs". Definitely doing it again. This year I had a list of firsts. Loved the lazy river. Did Vernon's aquafit class. It is a true workout. I ate at 7 of the restaurants. All are good for different reason. Different menus and different tastes. Different atmospheres. I spend my days at the Harmony pool, close to the Harmony bar. Dillan, Zannia, Rubi, Ed, Edward, Marz, all excellent bartenders with great personalities. I made it to Paradise beach by golf cart (I don't like sand). Had a great time. Drinks were flowing. I am part of a group of 11, who met at Cbay from 4 different countries, and now meet every year. Friends for life. We would meet for our own happy hour at the Harmony pool, late afternoon for a catch up of every one's day. And we have met new friends this year. That is what Cbay does. Now the rooms. Yes, the rooms are dated. I stay 4th floor Harmony. BUT the hotel is over 40 years old. It takes time to upgrade every room. The rooms are clean. The views are amazing, especially the sunrises. They had new mattress that was so comfortable. I am there to be outside and warm, when it is snowing back home. So I can live with a slightly dated rooms. I can't complain about the food. There are so many options. You can eat all day. The pizza at Flip Flops, the Jerk Hut, the variety at the buffet. If you can't find anything to eat then you are at the wrong resort. The chefs do a fantastic job of catering to dietary needs. BUT you have to let them know when you arrive. NOW...the staff. The management staff can be seen daily walking around the resort, checking in with guests and staff. All the management are very approachable and when presented with a problem, do their best to solve them. I joked that I needed a step to get into bed because the new mattress was high. That afternoon, I had steps in my room. All of the staff are extremely friendly. They treat you like family. Ask any of them a question from the landscapers to the housekeeping, to hospitality staff. They will stop and answer. You are not ignored. This resort is not a 5 star, even though I give it a 5 star. It is a casual Caribbean. It doesn't advertise as a 5 star. But it is definitely worth a stay. I was making reservations before I left for next Christmas and New Years. Visit #18. Love you Cbay. Thank you for another fantastic vacation.
