Apr 05, 2026Wouldn't stay here again!
First off, get a 2nd floor unit, if you have young kids & have never lived upstairs, I recommend you get a first floor unit as you can hear everything above! We arrived on Sunday, had a note that said pest control was coming on Monday from 10-4 and that we had to stay out for another 2 hours! Seriously, anyone would be upset with this window/appt for your own home and you expect people to be OK with this on vacation. When we walked up to our unit, there was no note on the door, saying it was completed, no text from the staff, so we called guest services and they asked that I call the pest control to find out when it was done. I'm sorry, Guest Services, but who is on vacation here? Pest control could have simply left a note on the door that room was sprayed at 100pm, safe to enter at 300pm? Also, do not attend the timeshare presentation, this was one of the worst experiences we had. Woman was arrogant and bragged about her 6 rental properties and 2 million points with Wyndham, but then proceeded to tell us she was off to Rio on Monday, but she wasn't going to stay at a Wyndham, but a Hilton Property, because Hilton is better.

We have stayed here many times in past years and the units that we stayed in have always been excellent. Not this time. The room was a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit. It is in need of upgrading. Electrical outlets were old and did not work at all in either bathroom. The wood flooring was cracked and split at the seam in the living room.Slow shower drain in master bedroom bath. We took our friends with us and were embarrassed to say the least. The staff did respond quickly to the electrical issue and made repairs the same day.

Lovely resort with plenty of amenities and nearby towns and beaches. We even visited south shore and discovered many little towns with friendly locals.

Nice Resort
Very Nice Resort for family vacation. Good location on this Garden Island of Hawaii. Good facilities in Resort.

Washer & dryer don’t work
Besides washer & dryer not workin, neither was dishwasher and garbage disposal. The tub in master is safety hazard, need bars to goin. It’s a huge wide jet tub, shower curtain dragged inside tub & soaking wet.
