  Room Not As Expected

I am a VIP Wyndham timeshare owner who typically holds pride in the properties offered in the Wyndham catalog. However, I am disappointed that my stay at Bali Hai Villas does not hold the same sentiment. We booked a 2 bedroom presidential lower level unit for 6 days to celebrate our anniversary with a request for a better view. Upon arrival the property looked promising and the grounds were well kept. Given that we arrived around 12pm, we were advised to visit the food trucks to allow 30 mins for finalized amenities in our room. Just as discussed, we received the text, proceeded to the counter, and were given keys to unit 1713. I would like to note that the staff member was not very friendly and did not provide any details on the hotel amenities or any offerings as other Wyndham properties typically provide at check-in. Upon entering our unit, we were met with the most embarrassing incident. The hotel staff had given us keys to another current guest’s room! To make matters worse, the guest was currently sleeping on the couch due to an head cold and was startled as soon as she caught sight of us. Awkward doesn’t fully express the feelings that we felt. To top it off, the guest was concerned and frequently inquired on how we got access to their room given that they were staying in the unit for another 4 days. I have never experienced this with of my planned trips. We proceeded back to the front desk and informed them of what transpired. They promptly re-issued keys to unit 1712, but no apology, no compensation and the energy was not compassionate on what had occurred. After reaching our new suite, the furnishings were definitely unrated for a presidential status. The bathrooms are dated and dirty. The unit has no view of anything as requested and there was deteriorating furniture outside of our unit’s front door. The disappointment in this room is beyond words given the amount of points needed for our reservation (230k). There was no walk-in shower and no large mounted tv as described in the room details. I’m no one to typically complain but the room is a 2 bedroom deluxe at best. In addition, there is no housekeeping unless you stay more that 9 days. We have tried our best to focus on the island as the main focal point. However, I would be remised to no say that our unit has placed a huge disappointment to our vacation. We are currently still at the property until Friday, but I will not be staying at this property in the future.

  Nice Pool Area

Nice condo - needs a little up-dating. Comfortable and clean. Pool and hot tub very nice! Quiet area. The only complaint is the maid coming prior to checkout several times to try to make us leave earlier. We didn’t leave early - it actually took more time since they kept knocking to see if we were leaving yet. Very annoying!

BEWARE OF DECEPTION-total misrepresentation. Do not accept any no obligation freebies

Time share scammers. Beware of Alexis, Brooke, or Sheree. They will lie about giving you free access to. Brest to just pay for it if you want it. We declined it but they competed ours for VIP treatment with no obligations...then charged us. Totally bizarre and deceptive actions. Should result in class action. Another review on Yelp "escalated" the review and gave an email but never responded after we requested a response. BUYER BEWARE!!

Bali Hai cancelled on us last minute

They cancelled on us the day of our reservation. They lied and said it was due to maintenance issues, but the representative from Club Wyndham admitted it was because of overbooking. I was on the phone for hours with Club Wyndham reps, who offered us noncomprable rooms—in other towns. There was one hopeful breakthrough when they found a comprable room in their sister property in the same town, so we relaxed and started driving toward or destination. Then someone from the sister property called and said it was an error, there was no room for us. “No inventory actually available.” So, even though we booked months in advance, paid, and had the usual confirmations and check in emails, we were stuck in tourist high season, trying to find lodging the evening we were supposed to be hanging out at Bali Hai. If you like gambling, it’d be a great spot! Pack up your family and get them excited, then spin the wheel and see if the reservation is “actually” a reservation. It was super frustrating.

  Fabulous!

From start to finish my experience with this property was fantastic. The unit was clean, well equipped, spacious and lovely. The staff was responsive and helpful and the grounds were beautiful. My party and I enjoyed ourselves immensely, we will be back
