Check-in Policy - Hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds.
Convention Policy - Individuals attending a convention cannot book this property for their stay. If found attending a convention, guests may be subject to higher room rates upon arrival.
Hotel Spring Break Policy - This hotel cannot guarantee a spring-break-free environment.
Transfer Policy - A price may display when children stay free, if your vacation includes transfer to your hotel.
General Information - Room taxes and service fees are included in vacation price. Minimum night stay restrictions may apply. Reservation changes may not be permitted unless authorized by the hotel.
*Important Information for our guests*
The Dominican Republic imposes various restrictions each year for Easter. The restrictions usually begin the Thursday prior to Good Friday, and run a few days past Easter Sunday. The following regulations may be enforced:
*Motorized and non-motorized watersports may be banned
*Alcohol consumption may be restricted (most resorts obtain a special permit which enables them to serve alcohol to non-native persons during the ban)
*Music may be limited or silenced
These rules are designed for the safety of everyone, as beaches get extremely busy during this period.

Jan 16, 2025Our group 11/11 of us said we would return
We were in the Privilege Deluxe Junior Suites and we had beautiful rooms that are comfortable and well stocked daily . The pool and beach areas had lots of chairs and there are convenient washrooms and bars in both areas. As a group we were very pleased with how every area could easily accommodate us together from the lounge to the Specialty restaurants. Food was great throughout the resort, as were the drinks ( they accommodated a variety of requests) . Strengths , staff were helpful and pleasant, special mention Delmira at breakfast and Ice in lobby. Evidence of areas being cleaned frequently.Cons It’s a big resort so it is a bit of a walk from one area to the next, but the grounds are well pathed and some of the most beautiful landscaping we have encountered with birds and flowers, herons and turtles etc . which makes the walk enjoyable. The coffee shop closer to the lobby would have been better and a second area of quieter entertainment would have been nice. We did enjoy Beatles night . Over all a great week!

My wife and I recently spent our vacation at Catalonia Bavaro Beach, Golf & Casino, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Japanese restaurant in Catalonia Bavaro Resort
It was wonderful performance Jesu and Carlos did and food itself was fantastic as well Definitely not good for 5 star hotel, but very good for the money I paid for this vacation. This is my third a la cate restaurant here in catalonia bavaro and this one is the best.

My favorite hotel in Punta Cana
Catalonia has an excellent infrastructure and the service from the staff is superb. We had a reservation in the Terrace restaurant and the food was one of the best we had. Our waiter Angel was the best waiter I've seen in a while. Great attitude and a lot of knowledge. The pool and the beach are beautiful. They clean the room every day and there are many activities and shows at night.

Being an Exclusive Traveler Member I will be trying out all Catalonia’s Resorts. This resort is beautiful, the grounds are so well maintained. The beach lovely, seagrass raked up every morning. It’s lovely to be able to use their amenities on the beach for example the hobie cats and Kayaks. Staffing all over the resort are very friendly lovely greeting every time they saw us. The downside of this resort Restaurants. Menu Food and Service all need upgrading. Buffet food in main lobby is superior to the restaurants.
