The location is perfect. The staff are so friendly and very helpful. It is not a modern hotel but it has a lot of charm for its age. The rooms are all extremely clean, ours was a smaller room but had been refurbished, our friends were in an older room but bigger. Having said that it was still very clean & comfortable. All buses stop just around the corner & the hop on/off bus is just up the round on O’Connell Street. There is also a lovely tearooms on the premises where you can also have a Continental breakfast or you can go in the restaurant for a cooked breakfast. We tried both and would recommend either.

Apr 04, 2026Charming hotel away from the hustle and bustle
We arrived at the hotel about 130 pm on Monday and our room was ready, which was nice after flying! The only drawback I would say for our family room, was the size of the bed for my husband and I. My husband is 6’4” and we had to move the couch a bit so his feet wouldn’t hit the couch. The breakfast was amazing and we tried both the full Irish breakfast and the continental. We also had dinner at The Vault and the food was amazing as well as the entertainment. The location of the hotel was great walking distance to everything and was pretty quiet at night. I want to give a shoutout to Marks and Tiffany for answering any questions we had. Marks was able to bring power back to our plugins when I felt I was going crazy that it was my charger not working! Very nice staff and just a beautiful hotel ♥️

Four star rating is somewhat dubious, I would think three stars would be more accurate! Bed was ok but if your partner moves then you’re endanger of being bounced off….. food was adequate, however the bar was limited and to my disbelief they ran out of Guinness. Location was pretty good. Overall it wasn’t value for money, however Dublin is very exciting!

Nice Hotel.
We Arrived Monday 2nd of March at 9:30pm. Reception team were nice and welcoming. They recommended a few places to get food as there kitchen was closed and we could bring food in. The Hotel has onsite parking at rear of Hotel. Price €15 euros for the night. The room we got was a great size for four of us and really lovely. 3 single beds and 1 double and a medium size couch. Our kids absolutely loved the room as they had plenty of room to run around. Nice walk in shower. Heat temperature was perfect in room. BREAKFAST. Young girl that was behind restaurant counter was explaining breakfast lay out. Continental breakfast was upstairs and hot breakfast was downstairs. As we were deciding on if we will stay in Continental side or hot breakfast side the girl turned to us and said Guys go and sit down. Im guessing she's was having a bad day. We sat down in Continental sections with kids I decided to go down and get hot breakfast. I ordered 1 full Irish, 2 pancakes for the kids. I was asked to come back in 20 mins to collect it. Then young fella that was giving me the hot food was a pure gent. I said to the wife staff down stairs are lovely. Other from that on check out reception team were really nice. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
