The Caribe Hilton is truly a gem. Fantastic ocean views, excellent food at their restaurants, and an unmatched location with their top-notch beach and pool! The service at this hotel is also exceptional. I would like to specifically thank Patricia at the front desk for her kindness and excellent service! She and the rest of The Caribe team treated me so well during my unforgettable stay. I look forward to returning soon! 5/5

I honestly regret choosing this hotel for my business trip. I want to start by saying the staff was very kind and accommodating, and I genuinely appreciated their efforts to resolve my concerns. However, the overall experience was disappointing, and I would not stay here again. The beds were extremely firm and uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. My room also appeared poorly cleaned, with noticeable dust throughout, and the AC was restricted to a set temperature, so I couldn’t make the room any cooler. On my first night, I requested a fan around 1 a.m. and was told one would be brought up, but it never arrived. The following day, I expressed my concerns to the front desk. Thankfully, the staff was understanding and offered to refund my first night and upgrade my room. While the upgraded room had a more comfortable mattress, the cleanliness was just as disappointing, and there was even a broken chair. Another frustrating issue was the elevators, which seemed to work inconsistently throughout my stay. Being on the sixth floor made this particularly inconvenient. While the customer service was great, the hotel itself needs significant improvements in cleanliness, comfort, and maintenance. I appreciate the staff’s efforts, but unfortunately, the overall experience fell short of my expectations, and I wouldn’t return.

Think hard before booking this property. It’s very tired. For the same price you can find a newer/nicer hotel. Our first room had soaked carpet in front of the AC unit. Marred furniture. Outlets that wouldn’t hold a plug. In the 60s & 70s I’m sure this was THE place to be. Now, I wish I’d avoided it. Hate this because I’m a loyal Hilton guy. Diamond for Life. That means I know Hilton properties. This one is more like an old Holiday Inn Sunspree. The only reason I rated this with 3 stars is because Emily at the front desk was polite and very proactive in moving us to another room. Thank you, Emily. Last positive, for kids, probably a great place. It does have a nice pool and a private ‘beach’. Hilton, I suggest some pressure on this franchisee to do a deep renovation on this property. If it’s a Hilton owned property, shame on you.

I love it!!!!!
I really had a great experience at Caribe Hilton and I would recommend it to anyone. Natalia checked us in and she was very polite, considerate and accommodating. All of the staff was very hospitable and , professional. They made my trip to Puerto Rico amazing and I cannot wait to return!

Good location and hotel
When selecting a hotel in Puerto Rico had many options and places to stay, we knew we want something between Conrad and Old San Juan. We found the Hilton Caribe and it ticked all the boxes of what we were looking for. We read the mix reviews but we also knew that everyone’s experience is always different and we couldn’t base our decision just on reviews. We arrived mid-morning and checked in with no problems but that our wristband didn’t work when trying to get into our room. Thankfully we had a digital key. The room was nice, faced the ocean with a small balcony, and was quiet at night. The hotel was large, they have a pool bar, lobby bar, breakfast restaurant and then two additional restaurants as well as an ice cream place that also sells food. So your options are plenty. They even have a Starbucks and can use your app or rewards. The staff at the front desk were pleasant as well as the staff at the bar or restaurant. We were very happy with our stay and when we return to PR we would stay here again. Maybe visit when they have their white outfit event
