  Breathless is your party place from start to finish

  Just got back from my vacation and my recent stay at Breathless Punta Cana. I have a blast as far as party is concerned. Let me explain in details. Location: Breathless is located in Uvero Alto Punta Cana, it's northern part of the Punta Cana beaches. It's just beside Dream Onyx in which is the more family oriented, kids friendly. Breathless is all adults only resort. It's a bit far from the airport it's about 30 plus minutes ride. The Property The Hotel is owned by Hyatt It's clean and always manicured lawn. You can access Dreams Onyx, next door. I booked on regular Kings room; the Club is available at cost. The room is clean and fridge well stocked, and re-stock daily. Also the room, comes with a hot tub, The only comment is that the lights on mirror is not turning off. And I request for it to be turned off and was never turned off. I request and nothing has been done, a little disappointing for me. Not make sense its always on, since my stay is short and they should have pay attention to it at least my request to turn it off. They have 2 different pools, the main pool and the party pool where there is a Dj and always pack. Also, there is a quiet pool you can, however you can still hear the music and all the noise. The beach is nice and clean, its not white sand and turquoise water like in Bavaro area. The staff They are very friendly, and no comment, from the kitchen, the snack bar, the pool bar they are very friendly. Reception check in and check out they are all friendly. Overall, my stay is great and have fun. I chose this hotel to see what all the party buzz and it is delivers. So, if you are looking for a party from start to finish of your vacation, this is the place you want to be. If you want to have a quiet time and just relax, this is not for you. To each his own. This can be a mixed of both relaxing and party. The choice is yours. Would I recommend this hotel, of course if you looking to enjoy and party. My only comment is that please make sure you have someone or there is a switch off to that mirror light. It's really disappointing to sleep while that light is on,

  Worst Resort Ever!

  The worst resort in terms of hospitality. My partner and I are both African American. We were treated as such at this resort. The majority of the resort staff did not interact with us as they did our white counterparts. At breakfast in particular, we barely got greeted nicely or with a smile. But as soon as our white counterparts sat down, staff knew how to smile, tell jokes, and keep returning to ask if they needed anything. Meanwhile, I had to keep twisting and turning and raising my hand like a school child for anything that I needed. My partner and I are quite reserved, respectful, nice people. We didn’t deserve that kind of treatment, especially after spending so much money to vacation here. The resort is big, and it’s easy to get lost. We had to figure everything out on our own. There are no maps throughout the property, and any staff we asked either didn’t speak English or just pointed and didn’t show us the way. All they have are BURGERS! It’s ridiculous that people spend so much money to stay here, and all they have are burgers if the restaurants are closed. I feel like it’s just lazy and cheap of the resort. I also paid an extra $600 for the Xhale Club. One particular employee profiled my partner and me. We were the only African American people walking into the club, and a lady had asked us only for our room number, as if Black people cannot afford the Xhale Club. My partner gave her the room number, and we continued to walk in. As we waited our turn in line, I watched her from a distance. She did NOT ask anyone else for their room number. I do not come on vacation to be treated unfairly and profiled. Also, this is another cheap and lazy thing on the resort's part. I’ve traveled to multiple resorts, and they all provide wristbands according to your booking! Provide wristbands to avoid future racist profiling. I also want to mention that I emailed the resort twice, called them, and sent a message through Expedia, where I made my booking. The only person who got back to me was someone from the resort through Expedia. I told them that this was a birthday trip, and they said they would put it in their notes for when I arrived. When I arrived, no one knew that it was my birthday. I had to tell them myself when we got to the room. There was no banner on my door. I did not receive a banner until two days after already being there, which kind of defeats the purpose. The hospitality is just terrible here. As I was walking through the hallway, I noticed there was a banner on every other door. Willy knew that I did not have a banner and that it took two days for me to receive one. My partner and I just weren't a priority for him or the resort. It's disappointing to spend so much money on a birthday vacation and not even feel acknowledged. It's just another example of how little attention or care we received throughout our stay. My butler, Willy, was absolutely no help. I wanted to request a ride to a restaurant because I had heels on. He said he would be there at 1:30. When he arrived, he walked us to the restaurant instead. When I requested another ride the following day for 6:30, he said he would schedule it. When the time was approaching, he called and said he would be over at 6:30 to walk us. We walked ourselves because we didn’t need an escort. We wanted a ride. The following day, our white counterparts came and sat next to us for breakfast. As Willy was speaking with them, I overheard, “I don’t want you walking. I will book your ride right now.” The difference in treatment at this resort was like night and day. Only 1 out of 10 employees greeted us in passing. They were so rude. When we were at the Xhale beach, the vendors hounded us consistently. It was overwhelming. As a resort, you’re supposed to protect your guests' peace. When I was in Mexico, vendors couldn’t cross a certain line on the beach. In Jamaica, they couldn’t even be on land. They were in the water, and you had to go to them if you wanted to purchase goodies to take back home. Another thing I want to mention is the checkout process. When it's time to leave, you need to get a checkout ticket. When I went to the desk, the lady at the computer was having a whole conversation with her coworker. She wasn't even looking at the computer or paying attention to me. She was literally ignoring me while carrying on her conversation. I had to stop her in the middle of it and tell her that I had a plane to catch because she was holding us up. I think that's absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. As I was sitting there, another woman came over and snatched the checkout ticket right out of her hand. I'm assuming she had been holding that woman up as well. Clearly, she had better things to do than her actual job. Even leaving this resort was an unpleasant experience. The lack of professionalism and hospitality was consistent from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. I have much more to say, but I think I've said enough to make my point. I am so unhappy with my stay here at the Punta Cana Breathless Resort. 0 out of 10 stars. I will never be back, and I will tell others not to come because I don't sign my peers up to be profiled and treated unfairly. I travel for a break, to relax, not to be stressed out or profiled. Worst trip ever!

  Amazing Home away from Home!♥️

  We went to Breathless Punta Cana for our 1st wedding anniversary and late honeymoon. We upgraded to the Xhale club and it was worth every penny! First thing we loved was when we entered to check in they greeted us by saying "welcome home". Thank you Eurelina!!!❤️ Our personal host, Emilio Castillo was top of the line. So friendly, and attentive. He made us feel so special and NEVER ignored. He also made us feel safe to ask anything. We will be treating our daughter to a trip there in the future and would ask that he be her host because we know he would treat her as his own. Shanthy and Amara from the entertainment team made us smile and laugh everyday, we wanted to take them home with us. You could tell that they really loved their job! Juan Nunez, Franscica, and Yurel from the Bar staff were absolutely amazing. It was like having your best friends there with you. I highly recommend visiting the coffee shop, The Nook. They always knew what we wanted and kept us laughing every time we stopped in. Hi Daysi! The entire resort was unbelievably clean and always so amazing. Great job to the entire Housekeeping team!!! The was so much variety when it came to the food and drinks. Even the pickiest of eaters could find something they would enjoy. We are taking our parent's there in April to thank them for all they have done for us. We could not think of a better way than to bring them to Breathless Punta Cana Resort and Spa!!! See you in April extended Family 🥰🥰🥰♥️♥️♥️

  We recommend Breathless Punta Cana for a fun getaway!

  We've been to Breathless Punta Cana several times, and we enjoy coming back. This trip deserves a special shout-out it our butler, Willy. Willy is by far the most attentive and best butler we have had. He goes above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of. It's people like Willy who make an great resort experience even more memorable. Breathless is lucky to have him,and we hope to have him as our butler on future visits!

  Amazing time with my wife and friends

  My wife and I visited for a week and had an amazing time. Ray Carlos Feliz “Niño”, Shanty, Hottie on the E team kept us entertained not only with beach games, but with their dance moves at night. Niño played volleyball and darts with us and we had a blast earning funny money and winning at the auction. They were all fantastic and super engaging. Manuel and Junior were our favorite bartenders always smiled and made the best drinks. Alejandro was our server for the breakfast buffet and the French restaurant. He was super sweet and remembered our morning order every time! Our massages were amazing at the Spa. Highly recommend the couples massage. Every dinner was delicious except for the night we most anticipated, the teppanyaki night. Our chef was not engaged, didn’t say two words to us, didn’t even wear the red chef outfit the rest of the chefs had on (it was like they chose a random chef and said hey come do hibachi we are short) and the server spilled soy sauce all over me and wasn’t even apologetic. We were served undercooked shrimp and it took 4x for us to ask to get drinks. It was the worst night we had.
