Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Breathless Cabo San Lucas. The location is beautiful - some of the nicest views and scenery at any hotel we've ever been to. The restaurants were great with generous portions and generally good service. We opted to do a romantic private dinner which was a great experience. A couple things worth noting. The resort definitely had a bit more of a party vibe than we were expecting with a very active harbor with nightlife. It wasn't an issue for us, but may catch some people off guard if they were expecting something more secluded or quiet. Also, the beach is not a private beach ...they have a seating area only for hotel guests, but the water access is shared with the general public which wasn't what we were anticipating. Our one biggest issue was the arrival experience. We were under the impression that airport transfers were complimentary as this is listed on the website and something we indicated in the booking, but when we got to the airport, there was no record of this. We ended up having to spend an hour at the airport calling various numbers and ultimately ended up having to pay for the trip which was frustrating. Then, upon arrival, we were told that an excursion we booked at the airport was a scam, so the hotel offered to cover those costs, but pressured us into sitting through a 2 hour presentation for their Unlimited Vacation club in order to do so. It gave a weird first impression where we questioned whether we were being scammed. Ultimately the hotel provided some additional services to cover the inconvenience...but definitely was a poor first impression. I would stay there again in the future for the amazing location alone, but would definitely get confirmation on the transfer in advance or book through a third party.

The resort was great. The surrounding area was very annoying and creepy. I see this destroying the tourism there.
Breathless is a wonderful resort. Very nice. The entire property was clean and inviting. The staff all very friendly and helpful. The surrounding Marina area was flooded with drug dealers. We were literally approached with weed, coke and Molly every 10 steps. Very annoying and made us feel unsafe. I am not likely to return to cabo san lucas because of this.

As soon as we landed we were taken care of by the shuttle service, remember to book your return with the activities group when you get to the resort. Ill start with the not so best. Food is ok, could use some flavor, I think the biggest disappointment was the burgers. For some reason the taste and texture was not there. The tacos/quesadillas were amazing. The salsa was good, but the REAL salsa was even better. Bites for dinner had a great menu and variety of food which we loved. Spoon for lunch near the party pool area was cool. There were some other fancy places but we didn't make it there. Overall not too bad, the location was amazing and I think the biggest/best selling point of the resort. The staff from start to finish was amazing, helpful and super friendly. Reception, front desk, Bites, Nook the 24 hour bar all provided us with amazing treating and services. Shout out to the boys Leo and Carlos for holding down the 24 hour bar and keeping those drinks coming. Also to the staff of Bites where we spent many meals. The live music also added so much to the stay. Room service was amazing, the app is so key when ordering and knowing what is available. A must to download. The architecture and setup of the resort is awesome. The balconies were really cool with the sliding doors. Felt safe throughout our stay. The beds were super comfortable and there were just so many pillows. I stayed in a double bed room with another person and there was plenty of space. We were so close to so many points of interest when we did venture outside the resort. Felt safe throughout our stay. Loved how security verified our room numbers every time we cam back from the marina/strip.

Amazing
Amazing views of the harbor! We love to fish, so watching the harbor activity was fun. Great service everywhere we went! The layout is a bit confusing, but finally got it down after a couple of days. Lol. Great way to spend an anniversary and birthday! Looking forward to the next trip!
