Oct 15, 2026Great location, poor hospitality and dining
Breathless location is great if you plan on taking advantage of fishing, yachting, or downtown dining. Breathless food and drink options were poor. Bartenders had limited knowledge on how to make a majority of basic cocktails and often didn’t have the appropriate ingredients. If you are looking for great location and have low standards for drink options and plan on dining out for most meals, Breathless is a good option. If you want a nice all inclusive experience and don’t plan on leaving the resort, book somewhere else.

Food is barely edible but the staff was friendly. The resort was very pretty but not one restaurant is inside so you are stuck sweating during every meal. This is the only all inclusive adults only on the marina so they need to lower their price so people are ok eating out every evening. The entertainment is weird and should be cancelled as they don't have the room to do proper entertainment.

Flies in the buffet, cold room service, and constant noise. Left after one night
I booked three nights at Breathless Cabo San Lucas (Oct 9–12) and ended up leaving after the first night. I’ve stayed at plenty of Hyatt properties, and this was the first time I felt I couldn’t stay. Food: Dinner from room service arrived cold and tasted bad. The nachos were soggy, with some chips burnt dark brown. The next morning at the breakfast buffet, there were flies inside the food serving area, right around the dishes guests serve themselves from, and a lot of the food looked like it had been sitting out for a while. At an all-inclusive, where every meal comes from the resort’s kitchens, this is a big problem. Noise: There was loud party noise from a neighboring room, plus construction noise from behind the building that I could clearly hear inside my room. It was hard to rest at all. How it was handled: I raised everything with the front desk and spoke with the manager in person. I was told nothing could be done for the remaining nights because of the resort’s policy. It was bad enough that I paid for another hotel out of pocket, knowing I wouldn’t get anything back for the nights I lost. The marina view and the location are nice, but that doesn’t make up for food-safety issues and a room you can’t rest in. If you’re considering this resort, I’d look elsewhere, or at least ask about construction and check the buffet before committing to a long stay.

Myself and my group had an amazing time at the resort. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and service at the main pool. Franco was outstanding and made sure every need was met! We’ll definitely be back

Worth the visit!
I'm so happy we stayed at Breathless for my first time in Cabo. The resort was amazing and it walking distance to the town. It was just a short walk to Cabo Wabo. The resort had a swimmable beach was definitely worth it. Also, being right next to the arch landmark made the view absolutely gorgeous!
