5 had amazing time 2 time here food was amazing service was amazing service was great people working here really nice worker named mosquito is great pool beautiful room really clean . Nice place come with family or friends. Nice gym and tennis courts temperature hot in oct and hot very safe to walking around. Sports bar and casino at night. If you like cigar place to be . Drink as much you want if you want bring Canadian money super Niko funny guy , jevo nice guy at sports bar .viscenta and Deloris Jolie and hole staff at top restaurant,Amaury hotel manager for supper room. Awesome
Great food and entertainment. Service is excellent. Mosquito is the best. Pool beautiful sparkling every morning. Happy hour all day long. Room was good. No issues at all. Go to the market close by to visit with the locals. Canadian dollars accepted all over puerto plata.

Couples vacation
l was in puerto plata in marien puerto plata with my girlfriend and l can say it was great there good foods beautiful view by the pool l liked the services l got there very good one in the same way l liked the drinks variable and good to drink and also the beach is big and nice to relax very clean the restaurant is good so but l loved more it was the animation and the shows always nice and different shows l love the atenttion of the guys specially roberto good guy and the service of the guy of the towel center felix me and my girlfriend we are very happy we were there thank you all

The experience in the hotel wasn't very good because the food the food isn't varied.theres humidity in the room and very strong. I paid vip and they offered me sparkling wine and never go it or other specials. I my mom got sick from the pork in the hotel. The only part that the hotel has good is the animation team. Roberto, Jesus and Bombon, If it weren't for them, we would have left immediately.

Basic
This hotel appears to be part of the BeLive group. It essentially is a budget resort, so it is important to calibrate expectations accordingly. If rating by American hotel criteria, I would give it 2 stars. Positives are staff and service. Food is pretty nondescript (but available day and night), drinks are okay (would not recommend the house wine), gym equipment is very dated, rooms are faded, tennis courts are in good shape. The hotel is not in Playa Dorada, and there is nothing much to do within walking distance. Access, however, is provided to disco and casino. If you are looking for an upscale experience, this resort may disappoint. If okay with the basics of sun, water, unlimited food and drink -- and are on a tight budget -- the resort may work for you.
