    All Inclusive Fail

First let me say some major love was put into this property it’s massive and very well decorated. However the customer service of the managers is terrible. My JR Suite was supposed to have two queen size beds. Nope sorry. Air conditioner was supposed to work nope sorry. I missed a day from delays so in the end paid them for entire day with staying there asked them for a day pass or compensation, nope sorry. All inclusive means pay up tourists we will get you drunk and stoned. I feel sorry for the many local employee here who truly work hard to maintain, clean and accommodate but as to management if your AC is not working fix it or move your guest to another side where the AC is working and you have beds like the ones advertised on your website.

    5 star NO 4 yes

Well let me start by saying it's a beautiful resort, however 5 🌟 I would say NOT room hot as hell with no AC just a fan above the table away from the bed so hot sleeping. This am my breakfast had plastic mixed in with it I was told someone will come talk to me but no one has. And the pool beds with sun blockers over them are $100 so it's pay or be in the hot sun very clean. The lifeguards are very nice. Will hope the rest of my stay gets better.

    Lovely stay but some flaws

We stayed on the Grand side (Family) in March 2024 and thought the following were good/bad. Ultimately I would say it’s more akin to a 3 star hotel than it’s advertised 5 star, but it’s definitely worth it for the price. Good - We were lucky to be in one of the newly renovated rooms which were lovely. I’d even say better than some 5 star hotels we’ve been to. Nicely decorated and the beds are SO comfy! - Cleaners and room attendants were lovely and always accommodating. We always had a fully stocked fridge and the cleaners were in and out without us noticing in the day. - Of the a la carte dining options, the Knife (new) was by far the best. It’s a steak restaurant and to be honest it was better than many of the good steak restaurants at home. I was more than pleased and the service was incredible here. The Japanese restaurant was also good. - Buffet restaurant is big with lots of choice and the food is generally good. They cook fish and meats on the grill in front of you so super fresh. - The app is a great way to book the a la carte restaurants and request anything you need for your room. - Grounds are really big and lots of greenery. It’s lovely to take a stroll around, especially with all the lights in the evening. Bad - The wifi was hit and miss. The first few days it was great but once the hotel got busier it was incredibly slow. - Service at the bars and some restaurants was not great. We had to complain about the bar staff as they could be very rude and ignore when you asked for things. On one occasion they were counting tips rather than serving guests. - Whilst the rooms were lovely, the doors to the corridors are not soundproofed. Luckily we were at the end of the hotel so it was quiet of an evening, but in the day you could hear every person that went past. A thicker door really would work wonders. - The pool could be incredibly loud during some days. It sometimes gave more of a party atmosphere with adults coming from the luxury side to the grand side just to party. But the middle of the pool was more family friendly.

    Overall great resort.

There should have been a photo of room-view on the website before booking the room. We paid extra for the view and palm trees blocked the view. Great pools, pool bars, day & overnight buffets and daily shows. Worst experience at the gourmet restaurants (Dolce-Vita and Don Pablo) - over cooked food.

    Awful Resort

A-W-F-U-L resort - We found staff dismissive and generally not friendly - Pests (bugs) were all over in the main buffet - Guests are not served in order of queue, if you are paying tip or the staff like the way you look, you will get served first - Only very BASIC drinks are available, one bar and one bar only will make normal bar drinks (mojitos for example) and this bar is no where near the beach or pool - Barely any towels in the room - A lot of mosquitoes - especially in the rooms - maybe it’s just the season (travelled in April) - No snacks offered so you either eat a meal or don’t eat at all
