    Chose another Resort.

The buffet was good, in the culture they treat men differently ( meaning you cannot have a tank top on, but women can have the same tank top on and eat) of course going on vacation who packs polos unless you plan on going to a restaurant with those restrictions. It's a buffet. Rooms are not 5 or 4-star quality, pillows are for a twin-sized bed not for adults, some outlets did not have power, and elevators sometimes didn't work, imagine walking up or down stairs at 90 degrees. Some front desk agents are amazing! majority attitudes . I'm glad we stayed away from there and engaged in excursions. The Grand does not have room service, the Luxury does but has no access to the beach, they have construction going all day! so annoying. I would definitely choose another resort. The views from the outside but once you step inside, be ready for the drama. Plus the door keys never work and you have to go ALL the way down to get it re-keyed and to be questioned well where have your keys been, annoying,

    Terrible I’ll never return

The male employees at this resort made me extremely uncomfortable. I traveled solo and from the time I arrived they were inappropriate. I’ve complained to numerous people and I haven’t received any assistance not even an email back. I felt so unsafe. I cut my trip short and came home early. Ladies please don’t go here alone.

    Room dissatisfaction, excellent food

Room: As a family of four, consisting of two adults and two children, we had concerns about the type of room we would be assigned for our trip. In anticipation of this, I took the initiative to email the resort in advance to inquire about the rooms. Unfortunately, my email went unanswered. Upon arrival, we were allocated a room where the children had to sleep on a sofa, which proved to be quite uncomfortable. In fact, one of the children almost fell off the bed due to its small size. We had to approach the staff and request additional pillows and bedding since the room was originally intended for only two adults. Given that this was my first time visiting Jamaica, I must admit that I was unimpressed with the room. Restaurant: I thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant, and the food served there was simply amazing. Staff: The majority of the staff were excellent, although we did encounter a few minor issues. Service: While the overall service was good, the disappointment lies in the room allocation and the lack of response to my email inquiry. These factors make me seriously contemplate whether I would choose to return to this resort in the future.

    Jamaica is a whole vibe!

My husband and I traveled to Bahia the end of April for a week and had an amazing time! We travel every year and for some reason this time we felt extremely relaxed and rejuvenated at the end of our trip. Not sure if it was the people, the resort, or a much needed break away from our daily hustle and bustle back home, but it was wonderful. Room: 3.5/5 No issues but it is aging. However, that doesn't bother us since we're only in the room to sleep. Food: 5/5 We loved all the food and restaurants, no complaints. Just keep in mind they don't have AC pumping in any of the restaurants, but again that is not something we care about anyway, but some may. Drinks: 4/5 Drinks were made strong and service was quick. Pool/pool area: 4/5 Grounds were always taken care of and clean. Pool was so warm! And you can always find an area that was not packed, but trying to find a chair was kinda hard for us, but we like staying on the beach, so that worked out for us perfectly.  Beach: 5/5 I loved how this resort had a few lake like beach areas. All of the beach areas had plenty of chairs and shade, which was needed cause the weather was incredibly hot. The locals mentioned the weather was as hot as it is in thier summer months (July/Aug). The Carribean sea was so warm and calm, my husband and I were in it everyday floating around and checking out all the fish. Make sure to bring your snorkel gear! Service: 5/5 Top notch and we never felt hassled once. Nobody hounds you or is pushy. A simple no thanks and were left alone. All the workers were always so happy and accomodating throughout our stay. It was a much needed trip for my husband and I to enjoy some relaxation and some quality time together. Thanks Bahia for having us!

    Not that great as expected

The room as MINIMAL AC. The room was hot during the day and night. No AC in building anywhere. Complained many times to front desk, everyone kept telling me maintenance was going to look at it, but did not. The beach and whole place smells like sewage. The bed is rock hard, you can get a proper sleep and pillows is very small, you can’t rest your rest. Food was good, but very hot because no AC in the dining room.
