Great Experience for Destination Wedding
We got married here and 50 of our close friends and family came. We were very happy with the resort and how it accommodated everyone. We had never been to an Azul or to Negril and it was great. Azul put on great entertainment each night and everyone in the group loved the food. This is one of the better All inclusive resorts we've been to. The people were amazingly nice and genuine which helped with the experience. Very happy with everything including the wedding planning process.

Re-enjoyment
We spent three beautiful weeks at Azule Negril. We were there three years ago and had a great time; it was even better this time. This time we came with the family and a 4-and-a-half-year-old and a 3-year-old. The boys had a most wonderful time, and so did we. The staff is exceptional. We have to mention Roxanne, who was always at our service, charming and friendly. We had a spacious room with the best sea view and a spectacular sunset view from the terrace. The spa treatments were most relaxing and enjoyable. Of course, the most beautiful beach and fantastic food are part of the package. What makes Jamaica unique is its people; the same goes for this hotel - people and the staff truly make a difference.

A very nice surprise !
My husband and I recently stayed at the Azul Negril, and it couldn't have been nicer! We heard a lot of negative reviews, and we were a bit reluctant about our stay, but it was excellent! The staff couldn't have been more attentive shout out to JK, M& M, Randi, Dave, Ayana, Dean Caroles, Andrea , Shellliann and Natalie just to name a few. We stayed at this resort pre-covid and since then they have definitely step it up with a really nice outdoor BBQ with music and a fire show. The resort was being cleaned all the time, and we were told they had new management that is making a huge difference and it shows! The beach is absolutely amazing blue, white sand and no seaweed, so if you're looking for a nice beach this is the place! I would not hesitate to book this resort.

Not 5 stars !!! Food is subpar
Firstly I called 2 weeks before my arrival to make sure I had a room on the first floor as well as 2 days prior to my arrival, low and behold no first floor swim ups available. I was told on the phone no problem there would be more than enough room obviously I was lied to. The check in lady said there was one available at a price by this time I had been there 15min when she went to ask her supervisor she came back said oh no that gentleman that just got there upgraded to it. I was very upset because I was there first and they were taking long going back and forth that they gave it to someone else. By this time I just wanted to get in my room well guess what my room was not ready it was 3:30pm and no room. I was angry and hungry and the only thing to eat was the restaurant next to the pool of course the food was terrible. My room wasn’t ready until 4:30pm so I tried to get reservations guess what no same day reservations. I had to eat out which was delicious and the service was great. I was told about the buffet and restaurants that needed a reservations but never about the restaurant on the other side next to building 12. By this time i was already on the last day and a half trip with my husband when we met the chef at Mahogany which was nice. He saw saw me with nothing on my plate but chips and asked about my stay and the food. I explained it and the next morning he made us something delicious in addition to making us dinner for my husbands birthday. Chef Sergio made the last 2 days bearable. The pool closes at 5pm yes 5PM which is crazy for a resort. I would say save your money and stay somewhere else. They have subpar food and service except for the servers and bartenders. I decided to spend the extra money and stay here vs RIU and honestly it was the same thing. Definitely better to stay at Sandals.

Still here at Azul
I paid a lot of money for this holiday after having hip replacement. Jamaica was some where l wanted to go, what a disappointment. The azul.is not 5 star... it's a cheaper holiday resort for America's and Canadians ... Who l have no beef with. The waiters and waitresses, the bar staff, yes you can get a miserable one at times...not enough staff but overall good. Concierge are helpful. THE NOISE... the staff running the music as it is loud... l NOTE THERE IS NO DJ or entertainment in the section for privileged holidaymakers, because they would not put up with it. The music is so loud that even being on the beach you can here it .. So even when you go on the beach you have constant noise from what the DJ and entertain staff and the 10 people at the bar. They promote fun and drinking for those at the bar ... But the beach is full of people who DO NOT want to listen to the noise.... The beach with it's all its people are not catered for.. Is completely spoilt my holiday .. l have claimed and nothing has changed as lm sat here now listening to loud music.... The same everyday build 9 at the bar... Dave the butler is fabulous... Can't do enough for you ... Lovely lad and well deserved of praise. The food... It's not gourmet.. today l had tinfoil in my food and a stalk of some sort. Beds lm.on my own so can generally get a bed ... Towels yes generally get towels but they can be in short supply some times. People who l have met have observed some of the entertainment staff telling guest it's their birthday and have no money to go out...you make of it what you will Tipping is an expectation and. The Americans tip high and l have observed some staff doing what they can to ingratiate themselves to guests.... Particularly entertainer staff who sit with guest at meal times and wait with them when they are checking out.. I have had no problem with my room and it's has been cleaned by Cheryl to a really high standard no complaints. However can't sit out on my balcony cause of all the noise today... Room service was terrible ... Really bad and l have not reordered since the early days of my holiday. I been here over 2 weeks now and it's not 5 star... It could be a lot better if they managed the noise and entertainment better rather than imposing noise and peo getting drunk... Really drunk that's ok, without imposing what is entertaining the few and just getting on everyone else's nerves. But l suppose entertainment staff getting Pepe drunk and getting tips is underpinning reason why they encourage this behaviour...
