Ava resort great personal service
Weather was perfect with a mixture of salt & pepper sky, sunshine, tropical evenings with sweet Caribbean sea breeze. We had two fabulous butlers; David & Dorian who handled all our dining reservations at seven different restaurants. If you are a legendary member be sure to go to the legendary breakfast restaurant it is awesome. Personal service from captain Sophia and Mario anticipated every need. Go! You will not be disappointed.

Two days into a one-week stay, we're experiencing some challenges significant enough that I want to share them honestly, both to caution prospective guests and in the hope the resort takes note. I'll update this review at the end of our stay if things improve. I want to be clear that I came with realistic expectations and am not looking for perfection. That said, a few areas have fallen noticeably short: 1. Guest Services: Reaching someone who can actually help, particularly for dinner reservations, has been frustrating. Calls get passed between staff without resolution, and the in-app booking hasn't been a reliable alternative. 2. The Beach: We were expected to set up our own umbrellas, and there was no drink service available during our visit; amenities I'd consider fairly standard at a resort of this caliber. 3. Dining Access: With young children who eat on an earlier schedule, we've struggled to secure reasonable dinner times, often being offered nothing earlier than 9pm. We were told a wedding on property is the reason for limited availability, but as full-paying guests, it's disappointing to feel like that's our problem to absorb. 4. Food Quality & Variety: Options have been limited, and we've noticed the same items cycling across multiple meals. More variety would go a long way. On the bright side, the rooms are genuinely lovely and the views are a real highlight. Ava Bay is a relaxing spot and replaces the poor beach vibes. Having stayed at several all-inclusives in the Cancun area, and after speaking with fellow guests here, I do feel this resort has room to grow into the experience it's promising. Hopefully the second half of our stay tells a different story.

Awesome spring break for the memory books
AVA did NOT disappoint. Highly recommend. My family of four did a week there for spring break. Huge shout out to some of the staff from Legendary who were over the top helpful: Dorian and David especially were over the top and Molly and Alejandra were massively helpful on solving an issue we ran into. We will be back annually at the least
