This resort is stunningly beautiful, right on the ocean and has so many pools and areas to explore. It is very close to the airport. Walking into the main entrance took my breast away! My balcony view was also mind blowing! The food and entertainment great, fitness classes so much fun and the spa so relaxing. Our neice’s wedding was the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever attended and ran so smoothly due to the excellent staff.

Family time at AVA Cancun
Our 9 night vacation at AVA Cancun was an exceptional experience. Our butlers Dorian & Hector were spectacular! Their efforts prior to our arrival scheduling dinner and pool chair reservations and other special requests were seamless. Their attention to our needs during our stay was impeccable.

Oct 15, 2026An incredible time at one of the best all inclusive brands in Mexico
We spent 9 days at AVA with family and we had a lovely time. The staff is so kind and considerate. Our butlers Hector and Dorian were the absolute best and truly made our stay so much more delightful. We had several amazing waiters, Francesco at the Black Iron restaurant, Alex at The Butler restaurant and so many others we unfortunately forgot the names of. This resort has so many different restaurant offerings and the food was top notch. We also got room service and Juan who delivered our lunch was so kind and helpful. We had multiple massages at the Spa and loved each of them! Amora and Mira were fabulous masseuses and Viridianna gave me the best manicure and pedicure I think I’ve ever had. Everyone here works so hard to make you happy. We spent most of our days at the members only pool but did explore the rest of the pools and there is truly so much to do for anyone of any age.

Couples Retreat--Birthday Celebration
The resort is beautiful with all ocean front rooms. It is a family property but features an adults-only section of the hotel, pool and 2 adult-only restaurants. The food in the restaurants as well as the breakfast buffet was very good. My one big wish is that they had a swimmable beach. The staff made the vacation special starting with our butlers--Roberto and David, who arranged for a special birthday celebration at Chez Moi and champagne and treats in the suite. They checked in multiple times during the day in-person and by text, made us aware of activities during our stay, and handled our check-in and check-out. Shout out to Gasper, Pedro, Isabelle, and Edgar, Milca (Omelet station) at the District Buffet; Jose Luis, Gustavo, Amando, Maria, and Bruno at the Dez Pool; Elias of the Entertainment staff; Clauda Poot and Abigail at the Spa and Jacquelina at the Salon; and Gabriel at Chez Moi.

Great Birthday Trip to Cancun
We were at Ava for a long weekend to celebrate my birthday with friends. Dorian and Hector were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay great. The pools were all well maintained and great service. We ate at Black Iron, Chez Moi, Livo, and Bao and they were all amazing. The spa was well maintained and the staff were all very helpful. Could not recommend staying at Ava more.
