    The Aston Waikiki Sunset pool area will be closed for maintenance work and repairs to the pool tile and deck Feb 24, 2013 - Mar 15, 2013.  Work will be restricted to 8:00a.m. - 4:30p.m. Monday - Friday.
    The Recreation Deck will still remain open and available for use including the tennis court, BBQ grills, hospitality room, and restrooms with saunas.

    Flooded Room

    We booked our stay through Hotels.com and for three nights our room leaked through the windows and ceiling. We had a half inch of standing water in both bedrooms and the bathroom for three nights and it smelled terrible. Water was leaking on the bed, and we had to move the mattress to the living room to sleep. The front desk admitted they had moved someone out of that room the week before for the same reason. Apparently, it is a well-known fact that all the rooms in the "14 block" leak. We spoke with a manager that said they were all experiencing severe water damage. We asked the front desk staff to move us daily but were told there were no rooms available. On day three they said they had a new room for us. We spent half the day packing to move to the new room at 5pm (it wasn’t ready until 5:30). The new room (3014) was as wet and smelled as bad as the one we were in (3414). We were patient. We never raised our voices and we were always polite to the staff until then, when my son, who was getting married the next day, loudly told the front desk it was unacceptable. The staff then miraculously found three clean, dry rooms we could choose from. The rest of our stay was lovely. The staff were friendly and kind for the most part and had they moved us sooner I would have no complaints. I wish I could upload the videos of 3414 to my review.

    Best place in Waikiki

    I've stayed here several times and will always continue. Perfect location. Its not on the Beach but that's what I like. Its only a couple of blocks off and it gives you the opportunity to walk the streets to search for great food locations etc. The staff is always very friendly, personable and very accommodating. I stayed during this last big storm. Of course there were issues as with absolutely everywhere else but the staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I will never stay anywhere else.

    Housekeeping needs improvement.

    The rooms are ok. The location is very convenient. Unfortunately housekeeping became substandard. Room cleaning is done every 7th day. They don't vacuum the floor. The bed sheets haven't been changed during our three week stay. The towels do smell, as if they haven't been washer/rinsed properly.

    Had a great time the staff was friendly had a bus stop near our hotel the room was clean had a kitch nice.bathrooms n

    I would stay again great staff . Clean room and kitchen and bathroom great view love the couch bed was very comfortable to sleep On there was a mini mart that was in the hotel Good for what u need

Because of the new law the property will honor existing bookings for travel up to Nov 30,2022. But for any arrivals from Dec 01,2022,forward, both properties will be unable to accommodate any one bedroom bookings with 5 guests.
