Location is Good for City Experience
Wikiki Beach is in the tourist section of Honolulu with the ocean and beach just across the street. There is access to multiple resturants and excursion opportunities. Plus, there is an ABC convenience store on every block for incidentials. We rented a 2 bedroom condo for a week with an ocean view. We throughly enjoyed the balcony and the spacious living room accommodations. The master bedroom and bath are perfect. The 2nd bedroom and bath leave much to be desired. We couldn't even leave a suitcase in the bedroom due to the size. It may be good for a family, but as 2 couples, I would look further. The street and area are very busy with tourists. Again, I would stay off the beaten path for a calmer vacation.

The best stay at Waikiki
We couldn't be happier with our stay at the Waikiki Beach Tower. The view from our balcony was priceless. We had everything we needed. The kitchen is well equipped, there is a washer and dryer in the bathroom, the living room is separate from the bedroom, and it has comfortable furniture. We could see the beach from our bed. The beach is literally across the street, but my daughter also enjoyed the pool that is warm at all times. The location is perfect because you are in a walking distance to the stores, restaurants, the Honolulu Zoo, tours pick up and drop us location etc. It is very complicated to find parking on the area, so the valet parking is a great bonus. All the staff is very nice and ready to help you with anything. In another words, I don't think we will ever stay in another place when we visit Waikiki again. We highly recommend Aston Waikiki Beach Tower it to anyone.

Great stay all in all
The aston is a great hotel. 4 star hotel and I think they deserve it. Pros: They have done a great job upkeeping the rooms and keeping them trendy. Service is amazing. Staff is very friendly. Housekeeping is flawless. Cons: Pool closes at 9pm. Sharp. They have a grill area that you can reserve. Although they didn't tell me that it was only for one hr. And up to 10 people until I wanted to reserve it, and I had called to inquire about it 2 times before arriving. In my opinion take the get together to your room. Way less stressful. Bed is a little hard for me, but I like a ridiculously soft bed so.... If you want a great hotel in the heart of waikiki then this is the place to stay. I will say it's very good location for a great beach area and easy access to all the shops, but on the down side it is loud at Night and being an older hotel the windows are not soundproof at all. That's the city for you though! It wasn't to distracting to sleep but if your the person that needs absolute quiet. Ask for a high floor or a different hotel (although I think noise you'll have to xombat anywhere. )

Just wow!
We were so impressed with the hotel. The staff was so nice, from the security guards and valets, to the front desk, everyone was very attentive. The front desk greeted us with a welcome package with such nice goodies and also gave our toddler beach toys. She was so happy! Our room was amazing, with an oceanfront view and all the amenities you could want, from a zojirushi rice maker to zwilling cookware. It’s a pricey spot, but it also has an amazing kitchen, in-unit washer dryer, and free valet parking!! The pool was small (but we still loved it) and the hot tub actually had a visible whirlpool, was decently sized, and not crowded at all. In fact, in the middle of the afternoon, we were the only ones in the pool area! (Maybe low season?). The resort fee was reasonable compared to all other hotels in the area that provide you with much less. It’s a pricey spot but you get a lot. It’s centrally located, with a direct pathway to Waikiki beach (just cross a short crosswalk), though it’s a crowded beach, so go early to get a good spot— otherwise, take advantage of the free parking, rent a car and go elsewhere. When we go back to Oahu, we will definitely consider coming back here— we’ll have to save a little, but it’s a place we’d look forward to stay to close out our future trips.
