My husband and I visited the Marival Armony over our Easter break for 5 days. The grounds are beautiful, the pools are lovely, there is easy access to the beach with continued towel and drink service and the ocean is totally swimmable/safe. We also enjoyed the various activities in the evening and during the day - namely the Watsu therapy, art/painting experience, casino night and auction, and water aerobics. Well done entertainment team! We were glad to see that there were adult relaxation areas to help give couples separation from the families. Having a lovely chapel onsite was very appreciated around Easter. The à la carte restaurants were also really good. I’d have to take off marks for the buffet however. While under a roof, it had open air - it was not enclosed. This led to birds and differently bugs - fruit flies/flies around the food. Definitely not appetizing. There was also not a pastry to be found - this is important for the coffee drinkers of the world. Consider having an actual coffee/pastry cafe place that one can access all day. The resort asks you to provide them with your room number for all meals etc - which is fine, but they call up the room as you are waiting to be seated. This made us feel as though they thought we were trying sneak into the resort etc. A couple of times they asked if we were the “Roberts” as if trying to trick us. Over the week, we were asked randomly by different employees what our room number was even when we were not seeking a specific service. We were wearing our bracelets! One employee asked if I needed anything to be fetched from my room which I found to be an odd question. Who would let a strange employee up to their room solo? She then of course asked for my room number. This treatment did not make us feel completely welcome. At the end of each meal, we had to sign “the bill” which required us again to list our names and room numbers - typically at an all inclusive resort, one doesn’t want to wait around to have to sign something. That was new and not appreciated. Other general feedback: they need to sell a better variety of snacks at the gift shop (they literally sell no chocolate!!), have an icecream area at the buffet - the resort is now family friendly, and include signs that indicate where their restaurants are (providing the actual names on the signs). Finally, Nexus needs to have a rep at this hotel, and when one arrives after a long travel day, don’t be so aggressive with the selling of things. We understand that it’s part of the process, but offering a drink first etc makes a guest feel more welcome and relaxed. 👍

We had an amazing time at the resort. It was clean and service was great. All the staff were kind and professional. The food stood out and we were shocked by the delicious options they had. Moises from entertainment & Alex were fun and friendly. We used the ice bath which was new and so enjoyable. The spa was also very memorable. Probably the best massage we have had on vacation. Overall would recommend. It is beautiful and so relaxing here.

Amazing Armony
Enjoyed the music, food, environment and activities. Moises, Alex, and the ice plunge crew did a great job and ensured we all had a great time! Would recommend this as a top vacation spot!

Amazing
We spent 5 days at Armony in April and had an amazing trip!!! Moseas, Alex, Rosia, Luiz were all wonderful and so kind to us! The service was phenomenal, property was beautiful and staff were the best. Amazing beach. Food was good but I wish they had more allergy friendly options.

Calm retreat
This was such a lovely vacation. The resort may be slightly out of the main tourist traffic, but it’s worth the extra few minutes. The service is attentive without being overbearing. The spas were unique and relaxing. Our last night solidified that we will be back. The entertainment was laid back and the event coordinators were excited to be there. See you soon, Marival!
