Underwhelming - not 4*
This hotel could have potential but a lot of elements during our trip let it down. On paper, this hotel had a lot going for it. The reality of our trip did not reflect this. We went the end of season but everything was closing down before that meaning that the poolside entertainment ended on our first full day, the shows were all squeezed into the lobby bar rather than the function room meaning that you could hear the show but potentially looked at a pillar instead due to the layout. Some other downsides: - repetitive food, no theme nights as advertised- mostly pork or seafood - they didn’t do most of the drinks on the menu as it was “finished” (meaning they’d run out and was not replacing as the hotel was closing) - no straws for drinks - couldn’t get bottled water - only decaf coffee sachets in the room - had to ask for ice in drinks - bar staff quite rude - large queues at the bar due to closing the function room before the end of season - not table service whatsoever - areas closed for ‘maintenance’ but no maintenance occurring - cleaning not brilliant When a hotel is advertising what it has to offer, it should be offering it the whole time it’s open, even if it’s the end of season. Services shouldn’t stop just because the hotel is imminently closing - it should be the same regardless of how close it is to end of season. It is what is advertised, it is what’s paid for. Some positives: - gorgeous views - food tasted nice - spacious bed and bathroom

Don’t go at the end of season
Due to us staying at the end of the season the hotel was shutting down during our stay. This ment only two of the bars were open, the food was repetitive every lunch and evening meal and there was limited entertainment during the day. But on the plus side the evening entertainment was very good, these were independent acts that came in and did performances which were not associated with the hotel.

Beautiful Spot
The hotel is situated in a lovely spot hugging the Cala & facing North-North-East across the coast. The staff are friendly & speak English, if required. Food is to a good standard; shellfish lovers will not be disappointed. There are minor issues to do with maintenance: cracked tiling which hasn't been replaced repaired on the side of corridors; bedroom floor wasn't perfectly level; & some of the complimentary drinks machine weren't working which increased queueing.

Wouldn’t come at the end of season
I’ll start with the positives because there are some! The bar and cleaning staff were friendly, and the hotel was clean with a lovely lobby area. The shower was huge, and the views were breathtaking! However, there were some negatives. The hotel was shutting down for winter during our stay, which meant bars were closed, and daytime entertainment had stopped. The biggest issue was the food—if you enjoy pork and fish, you might be in luck, but otherwise, it was very disappointing and repetitive and usually cold. The My Favourite Club didn’t offer anything beyond what we would have normally received; I wouldn’t recommend spending money on it! I’m not sure if this was due to the season, as other reviews suggest a different experience. Would I return? Unfortunately, no. I’ve stayed at several Hyatt hotels, and this one doesn’t compare favourably to the others.
