Good choice hotel
We stayed here for one night while visiting Zurich. Hotel is centrally located within waking distance from train station (about 15 min though a beautiful park), it’s also located close to the shopping street for those who are interested in that. Hotel was clean, large windows overlooking the city and the river. Staff was accommodating, we came early so they were able to keep our luggage while we explored the city.

Always feels like home to me
My stays at the glorious Zürich Marriott are always flawless, enriching and amazing. This is truly my home when I am in Zürich. Further, merciiii to Cara & Florian at eCHo & Francois in Lenox Bar !! Always exceptionally stellar service !! These three guys consistently go out of their way to provide warm, caring, kind and friendly service … like we are guests in their home. I cherish every visit to Zürich because I get to stay at this beautiful hotel and to be reunited with these amazing guys who are now like family to me. Merciiiiiiiiiii !!!

Would stay here again.
Beautiful, clean, well managed hotel. Large room but bathroom was a little difficult as it had a tub that was hard to enter and exit because of location of the sink. Best hotel buffet breakfast we've ever had. Large variety of choices including many non-standard offerings. Location was great. Can walk to Museum, bus terminal and train station as well as the main shopping district.

Top Notch Attention and Local Suggestions
I was surprised that we spent so much time relaxing at this particular hotel given that we typically venture out to find unique culinary experiences wherever we travel. However, the congeniality of the staff here in Zurich is second to none! It all started with Cara, our very engaging waiter the first night we had dinner at the Echo Restaurant in the hotel after a very long journey from the US. He was very attentive and spent time discussing our similar viewpoints about life in general. He even made a special effort to greet us the next morning while serving in the breakfast buffet, for which the food offerings are amazing in itself. The morning hostess Kenita and host Mark were always cheerful and helpful. Daniela ("Dani") who functioned as the Maitre D' in the evening treated us like friends, remembering us even after being away in Vienna for almost a week and recalling the wine we had ordered previously! After trying the Cheese Fondue elsewhere in the city, we truly enjoyed Echo's version the best. And lastly, a personal shout out to Joaquin at the front desk for always handling our requests so expertly. This is a fine hotel expertly located near so many places of interest within walking distance. Don't miss it when you stay here!

1 Night in Zurich x The Zurich Marriott Hotel
We recently spent one night in Zurich at the Zurich Marriott Hotel. This trip was especially sweet because we enjoyed it with dear friends including our sons, the biggest futbol and chocolate fans in the world. Clearly the FIFA museum and Lindt Home of Chocolate were on the hit list but first a bit about the Marriott. This property sits a mere 10 minutes from Zurich Airport and has views of the Limmat river. We didn’t get a chance to walk the surrounding area since our destinations would have been a very unpleasant walk in the cold temps, but the hotel is considered downtown. After asking (always ask you never know) we were granted a complimentary Marriott Bonvoy loyalty upgrade to the panoramic suite with M Club access. The views were very expansive and allowed us to see much of Zurich from our room. The decor is simple and the bathroom was a little outdated, but aside from a very hard mattress, the room was nice and comfortable. Cocktails from the main bar were a highlight of our stay but the $88 per person bottomless Prosecco Sunday buffet brunch was a major miss, with food that generally tasted poorly. The hotel staff highly recommended our dinner choice, Seerose Restaurant, which sits right on the water with gorgeous views, even at night. Unfortunately, our meal from the limited menu was overall disappointing, particularly the very dry fish. At least the mussels were much enjoyed by our sons. Both boys were enthralled by the FIFA Museum, which we visited on day 1 and the Lindt Chocolate Museum on day 2. Along the tours, definitely enjoy all of the history, but if you are with kids or kids at heart, make sure to leave plenty of time for the interactive game exhibits at FIFA and the seemingly endless chocolate tastings at Lindt. She said: This was my second time in Zurich and the city is more beautiful than I remembered. I definitely appreciated the room upgrade and kids welcome amenities at the Marriott, but will likely switch it up for some variety next time. He said: Don’t you hate it when you can see online that an upgraded room is available and the front desk tells you that they’re sold out? Well… that happened. Thankfully I was persistent. Ask and ye shall receive!!! And the amazing bar made it all better! The Kid said: Toys, bubbles AND no one complained when we practiced futbol slides through the lobby?! This Marriott’s for me! #
