Guest room is almost inside the conference room and elevators.
Though the resort was no where near capacity, we were assigned a room literally in front of the elevator and a giant conference room. Currently there are 500 people milling past our door or standing outside our door making small talk. It’s so loud we can’t even hear our tv. It’s obvious the hotel cares nothing for the individual guests and only for the big groups. This room should never have been given out for any reason besides a hospitality suite.

Poor Westgate resort
The unit is very nice; however the communication among staff is poor. The front desk advised that you have to call them for trash pickup in the unit which is ridiculous. I called the front desk and they did send someone to pick up trash. After calling another time for trash pickup, we were told to put the can outside the door. Then we left the parking garage to go out for a while and with no advance warning, when we returned, the entrance into the garage was blocked. There was a sign that said the garage was being power washed and no parking in the garage for three days. Upon checking with the front desk, we were told we had to park across the road in a dirt lot which wasn't close to being convenient. We had to enter through the front lobby and walk a long way to get to our unit. We have to park in the dirt lot until we check out and it will be a mud pit if it rains. Plus, when we get ready to check out, we will have to haul our luggage a long way. There are very few activities here, unlike any other Westgate resort. I don't recommend this place.

April visit
Beautiful resort and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating! Stayed in a two bedroom which was huge and had everything we needed. Loved my stay here and the endless recreation/access offered

Westgate Park City showing it age
I am an owner at Westgate Park City. We had not been to the facility for 6 years and were very surprised at the condition of the building. Water was leaking in multiple places. The kitchen cabinets are falling apart. The adult pool was closed most of the time we were there. The staff works very hard to try make your stay a positive experience. However, because we are owners, we were provided a concierge for the week and set up a time to talk to them about improvements they plan to make to the facility. Needless to say I could not attend the meeting. My wife went through their presentation the "usual" shenanigans about how they're want you to buy another week even though they are "sold out". They provide an incentive to attend these owners meeting and I was unable to attend due to illness and the owner services group would not provide the incentive to my wife because I was unable to attend. My wife reshedule our meeting for Sunday morning and sent 4 messages to our concierge to confirm this meeting and received no response. We were very disappointed in the facility and our treatment for the owner service group. Needless to say we will not return to Westgate Park City

Great time, nice hotel, wonderful staff
We were very hesitant before arriving at the Westgate Resort, reading some of the very negative reviews. We stayed here for 5 nights and had nothing other than a great experience. We requested a quiet area when we first arrived. The hotel was very busy with checking in a lot of people at the time, so we had to wait for a while. We had no problem with this since we had requested a specific area of the hotel. The staff were very kind and apologetic for our wait. The cookies in the lobby were delicious and plentiful. Our room was beautiful. Appliances were in perfect condition, room was very clean, and all amenities available. Our very large shower had both a regular shower and a rain shower, as well as a steam option for aching muscles. The soaker tub was beautiful, just not something we took advantage of. Clothes cupboards were both in the huge double door access bathroom, as well as 2 closets in the kitchen area. The kitchen was spacious, clean, with modern appliances. The mattresses very comfortable. The staff came regularly to offer more amenities as needed, and picked up our towels and garbage regularly. There were clear directions as to how to obtain any additional amenities if required before any regular delivery. All conversations we had on the phone or in person with all staff were pleasant and professional. Some of the hotel is only accessible by specific elevators, but again, signage was available in various areas and staff were happy to help out with any directions. I know many complain about this. This is a very big hotel. The signs are very clear. We had no difficulty finding anything. If anything, it was a fun exploration. We enjoyed some of the activities in the resort. There were 3 pools, one area for adults only with pool, hot tub, wet and dry saunas. There was also a heated outdoor pool with hot tubs, as well as a very large indoor/outdoor pool with hot tubs. There were ping pong tables and lounge areas in this pool area. All of these were heavily chlorinated and clean. The gym had plenty of equipment and was also clean. There is a spa available by appointment as well, and yoga classes for an additional cost. There is also a small arcade which seemed to be occupied quite a bit when we walked by. The lobby is inviting and spacious. There were staff available everywhere, and all willing to assist in any way they could, opening doors, assisting with ski equipment, luggage, etc. We did use the small grocery/beer/liquor store available for a few necessities but found it expensive and limited to supplies. We did use the complimentary shuttle service to go to shopping areas to get most of our supplies. We also used the shuttle to go to Park City Mountain and Park City Village. The shuttle was easy to access with an app, which stated exactly when the driver would arrive at your pick up area. The drivers were very pleasant and helpful with ski equipment. The Canyons part of Park City was a very easy ski in/ski out with ski valet daily and complimentary waxing. We noticed that the staff were constantly working at making sure the snow and ice were cleared on the walkways as well as constantly cleaning floors from skiers coming in and out, and changing entrance rugs regularly. We would definitely compliment all of the staff that make this resort such a pleasant experience. We would recommend this hotel as a great home base for your ski vacation.
