This place is gross and for sure NOT luxury as they claim
I am going to to try to be nice here. If you like pushy sales people trying to sell you a timeshare the moment you walk in the door, then this place is for you. If you like dated, gross hotels, then this place is for you. Hotel is so old, the electrical plugs are so dated, the plugs fall right out. Bell carts are so nasty, you don't want your luggage to lay on them. Hotel room is spacious, I give it that but we were told we were in a rennovated room. I would hate to see the others. Nice screens on the porches, if they would clean them occasionally. If you like gross, then this is the place for you!

Environment and Johnny and Nick show
My husband and I spent the week for our anniversary here and enjoyed how quiet it was. We had a 2 bedroom unit- nice clean and easy to find the location was near the main pool and thought-oh no it’s going to be loud- but we were wrong! The pool and hot tub was clean the resort grooms were nice and taken care of. The staff was very polite and friendly- they would say hello as we walked by them or in /out of the main entrances. The Drafts restaurant was awesome and the staff very friendly also! We went to a show that was on the resort grounds called “Johnny and Nick” - were we played name that tune and stack the bolts- they did a great job with the kids and adults- making everyone feel welcome ❤️ We also went to the main pool area to finish up the show with Johnny and Nick - this was also fun as Johnny did a western show as a cowboy with his rope and (toy) gun show and his whips!!! Awesome job!

Needs an upgrade, would not bring the family here
This place needs an upgrade, old and rundown. The bed was OK. I just needed a place to rest my head while I was here on business. Sneaky fees upon check in. Not impressed. Bathroom was weird and had an old Jacuzzi tub in the middle of the room.

Not customer friendly
As an owner for over 30 years, this time share is never a great experience. Started out with a room that needed cleaning, which we did before unpacking. The bed literally had a hole in it, tried calling front desk to let them know. Never heard back from resort until we called main number and they contacted resort which was later evening. They did offer to move us, at 10 pm, the high point was the bellman who talked about the fact this “happens a lot” We decided not to move, due to the fact it would have been too much for us and the young man. Power went out at one point so elevators were down, Wi-Fi down, water park down. No one contacted us to let us know what was happening. Asked for a late checkout, due to one of our party not feeling well, they said we would have to pay extra. The-customer representative at front desk was very condescending and unfriendly. Obviously from all the reviews, they don’t try to improve on this. The hotel was only at 33% capacity so maybe people are realizing there are much better places to stay Recommend Wyndham boomer creek!

Turn around and go somewhere else.
We have been at the Westgate resort for less than a week and we have the same issue three times. The issue is that the hot water goes out while in the shower and other water utilities. Each time we made a complaint to the front desk. To no avail has the situation been resolved. I've talked to the manager the third time and he was very dismissive. I had to tell him how to do his job pretty much. They sent the maintenance personnel when I asked why not find out from the maintenance personnel what needs to be done to repair the problem so we don't have to continue to call you. Unfortunately they did not listen and sent them anyway. All in all we had to move to a different room that did not have all the necessary items like bowls, baking sheet and a broiler pan which we had to get from the previous room. All in all, this establishment needs to be closed down and brought back with the proper personnel (management) that has been in the hotel and hospitality business for a minimum of ten years. Also someone that is in the engineering area of heating and cooling and plumbing needs to be dispatched and investigate what the issue is with hot water going out within five minutes of taking a shower or washing dishes. Once those improvements has been made then maybe you'll have more people back to this establishment.
