Villas
We stayed at one of the Villas for six nights. Had a pleasant relaxing stay. Staff friendly and housekeeping service excellent. Especially (Julio). The only not so great experience was arriving after a five hour flight and finding the sheets on the two of the beds had stains and hair all over the sink in the bathroom. Toilet dirty. Front desk had offered to move us to another room but we had already unpacked. New sheets delivered and I cleaned up the rest. Still a wonderful stay.

Great time! Very clean and super friendly staff!
We were a little iffy about staying here after reading the other reviews! I prepared my husband after reading the reviews so we were on the same page if it was as awful as many others had said. The check in was quick and easy! I loved the text messages to be able to communicate! Our room was super clean and very nice! I’m honestly unsure how the reviews are so bad! It was so nice having a washer and dryer! It was also nice to be provided with all kitchen items you might need for a 1 week stay! We also loved the Starbucks at the Marketplace and the option to purchase easy to make breakfast items! My daughter went swimming one evening while my son played putt putt golf! Overall, we had a great experience! Everyone was so helpful, pleasant, and really wanted to make sure you enjoyed your stay!

A good choice if you don't want the noise and crowds all day and night long.
For some reason this resort has received several negative reviews. Ours was a totally positive experience. Two couples shared the large two bedroom suite up one flight of steps [so be ready to carry your suitcases a little] and never got in each others way. The main bedroom has a large tub for two so that is a consideration for some but as older couples we enjoyed the easy access to not only the strip but Freemont Street and the surrounding scenic attractions. We asked for and received a later check out. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The free shuttle was in fact free and ran on time. Now if you want immediate gambling, smoke filled casinos, and loud neighbours don't stay here but if you want to control your environment and do more than gamble this is certainly a viable option in Las Vegas [and about 15 minutes from the airport parking garage]

Nice quiet stay off strip, but not impressive
The 2 bedroom accommodations were a little smaller than what was expected, but our unit was clean & comfortable. The tv remotes worked at various levels, but we got by. The breakfast counter with stools was only 6-8 in wide (suitable for a plate. We moved the stools. The on-site store was great for snacks, but there was no on-site restaurant. The free shuttle to Westgate Casino & Treasure Island allowed us to get back & forth from the strip, and was used every day. The downside to the shuttle was that it was 2 hours between pickups, so we did use Lyft when we didn’t want to wait. The temperature while there was 35-55. We were told the pool was heated, but it was cold (brr). The hot tub was warm. The mini-golf was toddler sized. We were given clubs appropriate for our 4 yr old grandson. Several of the holes were less than 10 ft long. The ping-pong table had a broken net. The large chess/checker board set was missing pieces.

Horror Show!
-- THIS IS THE SHORT STORY -- We are long-time Las Vegans, all graduates of UNLV, who now live in San Diego and travel to Las Vegas every two months or so. Our family was extremely excited to stay on your property and celebrate my granddaughter's 11th birthday. The jacuzzi was the attraction for her and we had decided to let her have the Master Room for the weekend. This was a big deal for her. Upon check-in, we were given the wrong room. We moved into the room, then realized we were given a room with 2 beds when we paid for a room with 3 beds. We had to re-pack and move into the correct room. After moving into the new room, and getting ready for the dinner and show, we realized that there was no hot water. The first service call occurred, repairs supposedly made... and we were advised to wait for 45 minutes for hot water. While waiting, the water tank broke and the room began to flood. The next service call required two technicians and created a mess as we waited for privacy. Repairs were made, or so we were told. Once again, we were told to wait 45 minutes for hot water. We were out of time. We had to dress, head for dinner and show reservations without the ability to shower after a full day of travel. This absolutely destroyed the evening and Manager Francisco offered a 50% discount for the first night, which was an absolute mess. We expected a full comp, simply for the mess and stress that we had endured at the fault of the property. This should have been the minimum offered to us. Then, after getting back in for the evening, we attempted to fill the tub with water so that my granddaughter could enjoy the bath and her birthday bath bombs as we promised her. We were assured everything was completely repaired which is why we did not need to move rooms at that time. The water barely made it to the top of the jacuzzi jets, then ran completely out of water again. We called the office who wanted to have another late night service call. We refused as we were exhausted from the day of travel and simply wanted privacy. We simply wanted what we paid for. We figured that we would get a full comp for the extra trouble, then move into a new room the next morning. Manager Francisco was offensive in his manner all night while treating us condescendingly as if it was us, who were difficult to satisfy. Manager Francisco refused NUMEROUS requests to furnish us with his supervisor's name, email and phone number. Manager Francisco was offensively unprofessional while telling us that he had no idea who his boss was, what his phone number was, where he worked, what his email was -- simply because his boss had not given him his business card. I made numerous requests. Manager Francisco offered to move us from the 971 square foot suite into another, but never appreciated that it took us over an hour to unpack and move comfortably into the suite, and that it would take 30 minutes to repack and another hour to settle into another room. There is no reason to believe that you're doing a favor by asking guests to undertake such activity and hardship when they are on site for a relaxing, stress-free weekend. We wound up packing the family at 10 pm and headed to another property. The cost and difficulty of securing a room in Las Vegas at 10 pm on a busy Saturday night cannot be overstated. It is fair to say that the property we moved to understands Las Vegas hospitality and served us well. When I advised Manager Francisco that I would be reaching out to senior management; In his own way, Manager Francisco told me that he would make sure that management heard all about this event and would appreciate "his side of the story" as if to suggest that it was my family that was being unreasonable. Two points should be taken away here. Manager Francisco, while representing Westgate Flamingo Resorts went out of his way to be offensive and ruin my family's weekend. Manager Francisco either had a very bad day, or is underqualified to work in the hotel and hospitality industry. Regards, Pastor Greg Currier
