The staff was wonderful and the resort was clean. The issue is the location. It is an hour walk to the strip. There is a shuttle, but it does not run past 9, which at night is when you really need it. Also, there is not anything conveniently located around the hotel. We had to walk 35 minutes to go to Denny’s. I talked to customer service to see if we could get moved to the one near the strip and was told no because we already checked in. Apparently we had to go to the “timeshare” presentation but was not told the details. Then the staff doing it said we would get charged for our stay because we “were refusing to participate,” Which we already paid so I don’t know what that was about. We ended up leaving and going to a hotel on strip and we had a great time. If you want easy access to strip-do T stay here

i love this hotel n it was nice it was gated n u had to show ur parking pass to get in the hotel n they had a little market to buy stuff n they had stuff to do on their protery too and i will come back here n stay , the rooms were clean n love the bathroom it was nice too

Nice and relaxing!
Stopped for one night while traveling through Vegas. The room was very nice and quiet. I loved having the clothes washer and dryer in my room so I could catch up on laundry! My only complaint... they are super, super strict about their 4:00pm check-in time (4:00pm? Really?!). I went to check in at 2:00pm hoping for early check-in and they said no.. came back at 3:50pm and they said I had to wait the 10 minutes. It was a Monday and their parking lot was empty, I saw a handful of people there when I was staying so i'm sure it wasn't sold out... Most other Vegas hotels offer early check-in or let you check in as soon as 9am! It sucks that you're paying a high amount for a room but you're only getting the room from 4:00pm to 10:00am.

Mar 31, 2025Apparent bed bug problem
I always check hotel beds for bedbugs. I had never actually seen anything problematic until the Westgate Flamingo Bay. Upon pulling back the sheets, I saw what I believe to have been evidence of bedbug activity. I did not see any live bugs but I did see what appeared to be droppings and exoskeletons. We had not even unpacked so we went to the front desk and told the clerk we would be leaving. I have a zero tolerance policy toward any hotel with bedbugs even in a single room. Obtaining a refund has been a hassle.

A quiet place to stay with a comfortable bed, separate sleeping area for our teenager, and ample parking. Reminded me more of a multi-complex apartment building than a resort. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. It's a 10-15 minute drive to the strip. Nice kitchenette with full size fridge and coffeemaker, dishwasher, microwave etc. We visited the hot tub around 10 pm. Very hot, powerful jets, lots of towels. No nearby grocery store but there was a McDonalds and other options close by. Not sure if they are walkable distance or a safe walk (?) The hotel is located on a busy street. An overall nice place.
