Sep 29, 2025Budget hotel at Union Square
The Hotel is located very well for Union Square, Big Bus hop and stop, cable cars, theatres and high end shops like Macy’s so it’s easy to get to everywhere quickly. The hotel has a bar and restaurant attached. The key issue was it proximity to Tenderlion area and homeless issue which was not mentioned upon booking in so never felt totally safe. It’s right on Taylor and the noise of the traffic and sirens during the night kept me awake. The sink was outside the bathroom ( weird) and the bath was the smallest I have ever seen. I would not stay there again and perhaps look at North Beach / little Italy area first.

Older traditional hotel, close to Union Square
Friendly and helpful reception staff. Hotel is close to Union Square. It is an old hotel and rooms are basic, small and in need of an upgrade. Bathroom was tiny. It was fine for an overnight stay.

Jul 14, 2025Happy 4 night stay at Warwick Hotel
We stayed here for 4 nights. Great location to Union Square area, fabulous public transport to other areas on the city. We used tram, bart, cable car, bus, uber & Waymo! Easy access from the airport too. We stayed in Queen Rooney on 6th floor, had everything we needed for a short stay. Complimentary water & wine every day. Housekeeping staff very friendly and they cleaned our room every day for us. On arrival our room fridge door was not closing properly and was frozen up. This was sorted promptly for us. Hotel staff gave us a map with some recommendations to visit and also a reminder not to venture into Tenderloin area. Hotel is very close to the Tenderloin but I would definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Overall an excellent stay in San Francisco.

Positive Experience
Our company has had a great experience using The Warwick San Francisco for business travel. The location is convenient, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is consistently professional and accommodating. It’s been a reliable and pleasant stay every time. Highly recommend for business trips.

One night in SF
Great location for the price !! Rooms are on the smaller side but clean and comfortable. Queen bed is more on double side width wise. Overall a comfortable stay and staff is welcoming and pleasant. They still believe in giving free bottled water on the house.
