Excellent!
Everything . Hotel ,restaurant, swimming pool and people working here everything is super good! Little dated room I think but it’s ok. It is very historic hotel I don’t care… Everything was fantastic. I feel very special I’m in here. So bring swimming wear and go restaurants!

Great
Remarkable place, lots of history. In the Salon Clemenceau where the Treaty of Versailles was prepared. Excellent staff, valet parking (though I would have preferred they parked my car in the inside garage, not outside), nice swimmimg pool and spa. Everything luxurious though bit used. Room and hotel not too warm especially in the afternoon. Drawback of historic building I guess. Very nice restaurant. All in all a very nice stay.

Disappointing stay
First, it gives me no pleasure to provide only 1-star. I was looking forward to this 3-night stay, during which we spent $$$ between the room and the Michelin-star restaurant. We stayed in room 409 (4th floor), and the floor smelled musty, as did our room (I'll note that in the winter the weather is wet but management should account for that by adding scent diffusion for example). The shower smelled like sewage on the second day so we had to call the reception so they could add a liquid to neutralize the smell down the drain. Additionally, after our first night, the housekeeping staff forgot to lock the room linked to 405 where our parents had stayed the night before which meant that the next guest could have easily entered our living room and our suite. On our second night, the guest next door (room 405) smoked a cigar and the smell penetrated our entire suite. I had to call the reception and the security guard came to my room to confirm that the smell was from smoking next door. Consequently, we had to close our living room door to block the smell for the rest of our stay. The next morning, I didn't even receive a note or a call from management apologizing and offering to make it right back compensating the room or providing a discount (something I would expect from a 5-star hotel). I was the one who had to proactively go to the reception in the morning to ask if this issue was taken care of. They said yes, but again, I didn't receive anything from them and the rest of our stay was limited to just our room and not the living room. In summary, this felt more like a glorified Double Tree Hilton stay than a Waldorf. From the musty smell to the lack of professionalism from the staff their lack of attention and making the situation right (by being pro-active), left me and my wife feeling beyond disappointed.

Beautiful as usual
I had an amazing stay at the Waldorf in Versailles. The property is great and the staff amazing helpful. Breakfast was very good with many options and diner there is a must really good food. Shout out to Corentin, Marie and the other gentleman tall I forgot his name at the front desk. It was a cold weather but still always a great stay in Versailles.

Easiest Access to Chateau Versailles
I spent just 1 night here in December and wish it could have been more. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful and so easy to walk onto the Chateau grounds and into the town itself. Did not have a chance for the spa or breakfast this trip. Will definitely be back.
