First, let me be clear, this rating is for our server William. This rating is NOT for the hotel! The server William is top tier. He is very attentive to customer's and is willing to accommodate as much as he can. He made my family feel very comfortable and welcomed. I don't know if Waldorf realizes how much of an asset he is for them. I'm not saying he is the only one but, in our 6 day stay, his service stood out the most. He definitely is MANAGEMENT MATERIAL!

This property clearly has strong foundations and was once a very lovely hotel, but it is now showing signs of underinvestment that detract from the overall experience. Several facilities would benefit from attention. There is broken equipment in the gym and changing rooms, and the changing rooms themselves were not as clean as expected. Around the pool, some of the furniture appears worn and in need of cleaning or replacement. These are areas where relatively straightforward maintenance and housekeeping improvements could make a significant difference. Breakfast itself was good in terms of food quality; however, service was difficult to access and inconsistent, which took away from what should be a relaxed start to the day. We are both individual Hilton Gold members and stay at approximately 20 Hilton properties per year across a range of brands. Unfortunately, this experience did not fully align with the standards we normally associate with the Waldorf Astoria name. With renewed investment in maintenance and a stronger focus on service delivery, this hotel has the potential to return to the level its brand promises. We will be staying at the Panama Hilton shortly and will be interested to compare experiences.

Wonderful team
I can’t imagine a better host than William. From the moment we arrived, William was fantastic. Welcomed our family and made us feel at home. The Waldorf is lovely but more special because of people like William.

An excellent experience.
I enjoyed my experience at the Waldorf. The breakfast was excellent! The hotel was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Enjoyable breakfast experience
William made sure our breakfast was very enjoyable. He went out of his way to be attentive every morning. As soon as he saw us he had our juice and coffee waiting. Highly recommend.
