Perfect stay
We loved our stay at the Waldorf Astoria. We were celebrating my sons 7th birthday. We had a great view of the Disney fireworks. Room was super clean. Breakfast attendant at Oscar’s was amazing he definitely made the experience a magical one. Thank you very much dj Prince.

Exceptional
Visited one night only to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday . We enjoyed as much as possible in just 24 hours. We had a Spa appointment , lunch at the pool bar, dinner at the Bull and Bear , drinks in the lobby bar, and ended it with breakfast at Oscars. The experience was beyond our expectations in every-way. The staff was professional and exceptionally accommodating, truly a 5 star experience.

Amazing 5 star experience
We just got back from 5 nights stay family of 4 with 2 little ones. From the moment we arrived up until departure we were treated to a true 5 star experience. We received an email prior to arrival about arrival time, upgrade options and any other requests we might have. Our room was ready before 2pm, I used digital key from the app. Once we arrived, our ride door was opened for us by bellman who assisted with our luggage to be delivered to our room. Luggage was delivered promptly within few minutes, suite was huge and clean with balcony and Disney view. This was consistent throughout out our stay, door always opened for us, everyone was smiling and greeted us no matter how many times they had seen you prior. Room service is the best I have experienced, whenever you go to the park we come back to a sparkling clean room, folded clothes, clean towels, toiletries and water refilled, I can go on. Then they come back for turn down service which we didn’t need but greatly appreciated. We did not lack anything during our stay although I was surprised there was no microwave. It was delivered for $35. Our deliveries were delivered by bellman on time. Room service was amazing, we ate mostly at La Luce as my kids love the pasta. Oscar’s breakfast could have more variety at the price point but I liked the quality of food. I loved the pool, it’s clean and warm my kids did not want to leave. We took the bus to Disney, always on time but back to the hotel schedule was not consistent with website. Uber/Lyft was $10 so not much of an issue.Although I prefer the bus because we did not have to fold our stroller. All the staff members are courteous and nice all around the hotel grounds. Services were prompt. The hotel was the highlight of our Disney trip.

Good hotel, great Disney location but needs a few reality checks.
Very nice hotel. Currently undergoing a refurbishment but it didn’t impact our stay significantly. Beautiful location in the leafy suburb of Bonnet Creak, very close to the Disney parks. 10 mins to Hollywood Studios, Epcot and Disney Springs. 15 mins to Animal Kingdom; 15 mins to the TTC for onward transportation to Magic Kingdom. Depending on the bus schedule it is sometimes easier & quicker to request an Uber / Lyft. Classic rooms, if a little dated. Go for a high floor for lovely views of the surrounding resort. Swimming pool area is lovely, a really nice place to relax. We used to like chilling by the pool first thing in the morning for a couple of hours and heading to the Disney parks afterwards. A few negatives to consider - Buffet breakfast is horribly overpriced at $40 plus tax, plus tip. Budget $100 for 2 people. We decided to walk through the hotel to next door at Signia by Hilton where the breakfast was pretty much the same food but $10 per person cheaper. I think you’ll find it’s the same with their rip of parking here too, go next door and you’ll find it cheaper even though they share the same parking lot! The hotel is massive and in between the Waldorf and the Signia is a huge convention centre for work events and corporate hospitality. At weekends the hotel gets filled up with corporates staying overnight at their companies expense. There was a lot of really drunk people around the pool and in the lobby bar on these days - the majority of guests on vacation were pretty respectful and just relaxing, but those on their work jolly were incredibly loud, drunk and spoiling the atmosphere for the rest of the hotel guests. Not to sound like a party pooper but the poor man playing lovely background music on the piano in the lobby bar was barely audible, and a candidate for the worlds loudest woman was screaming her head off in laughter at the poolside as the cocktails kept flowing all afternoon. Staff did nothing about it presumably because they were all earning their 20%+ tips on all the booze they were expensing. To be courteous to other guests on vacation, the Waldorf need to do a better job of isolating the bigger corporate groups and keeping them separate from vacation guests where possible. Finally don’t expect to get much reward as a Hilton Gold member. They are happy to offer you a room upgrade for an extra $180 per night, but if you just turn up like we did they told us the hotel was full and we weren’t offered the complimentary one tier upgrade that is customary which was disappointing.

unremarkable
nothing about this property was outstanding. Apparently, Waldorf Astoria is no longer a flagship brand. Price-to-value for average quality breakfast and poolside dining was absurd….. ($19 for 3 pancakes?!?!?!). Room was fairly clean, quiet, and secure; again, nothing remarkable about in-room amenities…might as well have been an Embassy or Garden Inn
