Great Stay
I stayed in a two bedroom cottage for two nights to visit the canyon, since it's closer to the park. I didn't cook, so I didn't use the kitchen. It was very quiet and peaceful. I didn't hear rooster in the morning, The room looked old, I am not sure when it was built. If I took a wild guess, it might be built in 1930th, but I liked it. The rooms were clean. There was an air conditioning in each bedroom and one in the living room. Even though it was hot, the rooms were cool and very comfortable. There are two restaurants in the same area on site, not a lot options for restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly. The ground looked nice. If I visit the canyon park again, I will stay here again.

A Beautiful Location with a Soul
Such a unique, beautiful place to stay. Amazing vibe that is rooted in the local culture. Not some corporatized resort. This is a well maintained location with a soul that is cared for with love. There’s restaurants on the property as well as a full kitchen with appliances. They also have an easily accessible laundry facility. You can get groceries and make full meals, or go out. They even have outdoor grills you can use. They have a beautiful pool and immaculate landscaping as well as a beach. It’s like you get to get to live in Kauwai while you’re there. We had a group vacation as well as with our 12 year old. Everyone had an amazing time. What’s really great about it, is when you’re done doing touristy activities, you can really chill out and enjoy your home base just as much. The down-time at the cottage is it’s own experience as well. Highly recommend!

Refreshing, comforting, gorgeous.
This cottage was perfect. With the full kitchen, we were able to save on food costs. Additionally, fresh mangoes fell from mango trees each morning. Yum. It is right off of the beach but has a pool as well. Strong WiFi, clean, peaceful. They give you earplugs for the wild roosters but I never heard them early in the morning. Hammocks were an added touch.

Fabulous Stay At Waimea Plantation Cottages on Kauai
This was a fantastic place to stay. Our cottage took us back in time but with internet and excellent working AC. Cottage #84 was just perfect for us. The main bedroom had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! The cottages are arranged so that all of them have an ocean view and the spacious, covered deck was perfect for our morning coffee. The staff were very helpful and within 5 minutes of calling we would have fresh towels, coffee, tp etc. The pool was very nice and right by the beach. There are BBQ's available for use so we enjoyed BBQ'd steaks one night. There are shops within walking distance and the BEST burritos near by. The cottage was very clean and no sign of bugs ( I've stayed in places in Hawaii with cockroaches in the past ). This place was bug free:) Our family had the perfect stay with Waimea Plantation Cottages. The only downside is that the beach is not safe to swim at. We had a car rental so this was not an issue for us but you really need a car if you stay here.

Amazing vacation!
Wow! What a treasure we found! A beautiful location with direct access to chocolate sand beach with amazing sunrise and sunsets to see! The cottages are well maintained and comfortable despite their age. The grounds are immaculately maintained and filled with beautiful flowers, trees and shrubs! It was quiet and peaceful, the view from our lanai was fantastic (we had a garden view but could see the ocean!). Great place to read a book, go on a hike (Waimea Canyon is very close by), hit the surf at nearby swimming beaches and enjoy great food. Really wonderful vacation and we’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!
