    1st impression was ok but Moro team made it great

    Our 1st time in Panama and we are celebrating our anniversary. I chose this hotel because it's the only Marriott property in AMEX FHR list in Panama City. Our check in process was “ok” it could have been better. The front desk agent lady that did our check in made us feel not really welcome. When I asked her to change my $100 for tips, and I asked specifically for 10s and 5s if she can. I saw in her bank that she has A LOT of smaller bills. But she only gave me three 20s, two 5s, and three 10s. Then she told me that she cannot give me more than that because she is reserving for other guests. After she did the check in, she just told me that I have a breakfast and pointed me the restaurant next to the lobby, she didn't even say I got my upgrade, not until I asked. I wanted to asked her more things about the hotel but when I asked her for dinner recommendations, she just stopped me and said her colleague (the bellman) can tell me more if I have more questions. The feeling was like “get out of my sight, stop asking questions.” The 1st impression was not really good. We were thinking if we got another agent who accommodated us, maybe it was better? The bellman who took our luggage was Great!!! Sorry we forgot his name. He took care of us arrival and departure. The mobile chat was also very responsive 10/10 The highlight of our trip was the breakfast at Moro. Their Manager, Ricardo, and his team went above and beyond. This really turned around their experience. They put a nice decoration on our table and the wall. When we asked about what Panamanians eat for their breakfast, he explained to us what it is and after some time, we received a nice panamanians treat in our table. We were so amazed and happy how Moro team turned around the experience. They are all Amazing! Lobby bar people were also great! Overall this stay is 9/10. It could be 10/10 if we had a better check in experience.

    Such a Marvelous place!!

    The W Panama is my favorite hotel in Panama. It’s always my first option when deciding where to stay while visiting. I stay at the W for the service, comfort, and the experience. The level of service is exceptional. If you are an elite Bonvoy member, they will make sure you filled valued for your loyalty. They go above and beyond in every way. I’ve visited a couple times in the last few years. Got to stay in a WOW suite and on my latest visit the Marvelous suite. You can’t go wrong with either one. I’d say for couples looking for a romantic experience go with the Marvelous. If you have a larger party go with the WOW which is much larger. Both are great, trust me! Love the decor, the scent from the hallways, the breathtaking views, the hotel is very well put together. Rooms are well laid out. You have turndown service as well. W covers all bases. My wife and I enjoyed couples massage at AWAY spa. The spa offers complimentary sauna, showers, secure lockers, steam bath, lounge chairs, tea, flavored water, to their guest you’ll just need to call ahead. The W has a Paul’s cafe in the lobby. They are open for breakfast lunch and dinner. I go for the pastries and coffee. Breakfast at Moró is decent. It’s buffet style. Special thanks to Analia and Nathaly for making our stay unforgettable. My wife loved the extra attention. I will always remember this visit. Thank you both for the extra effort and the excellent service, our stay was a little more special because of you.

    Wonderful stay in Panama this week. The employees at this hotel could not be more helpful. Service was impeccable! Our room was large, clean and well equipped. The location is great for getting around the city. It’s really the employees here that made our stay a 5 * experience. Thank you!

    Great service and staff. Love the rooftop swimming pool . I was offered an extra towel. Bathrooms are clean. Recommended place to stay!

    Best staff ever and perfect location!

    We had a lovely time at this hotel. The rooms were nice and the staff were absolutely amazing! So accommodating to every possible need. The breakfast room team were the best start of everyday. They truly are the gems of this establishment! Thank you for making our stay so fabulous.
