Best animation team! Beautiful beach and grounds.
Lots of fun. Beautiful beach and the grounds are very nice. The animation team does an amazing job with lots of activities and entertaining shows! Very talented, friendly, engaging, and hard working. They made our family trip a lot of fun. They're always making the resort fund and lively. Rooms and food are ok overall. The great beach, beautifully manicured grounds, palm trees, location in Cabarete near restaurants, bars and cafes are the plus. Buffet breakfast is good although fairly repetitive. Lunch and dinner are also a bit repetitive and would prefer more variety. But they did a great Christmas buffet with many food stations, tents, lights, decorations, Christmas trees and displays, and also the restaurant a la carte dinner (surf and turf lobster and steak was quite good). We also enjoyed the Mexican restaurant...food was quite good there. Bar tenders are fast and drinks are good. Espresso bar is a also a plus. Staff are very friendly and we liked that the resort was not very big. Easily walkable and we always knew where our kids were. We enjoyed this resort as a winter getaway from the cold and snow for the price.

Disgusting food and badly maintained rooms overshadow beautiful beach. Ignore this review at your own risk.
Beautiful grounds when you arrive at night and the beach is even better. The pool is nice too. But that’s where the pros end. There is something wrong with every room, and if there’s only one thing not working, you consider yourself lucky. But the worst of all is the absolutely disgusting food selections. The buffet has made made my whole family sick and it’s clear why - there is no food safety education in the cooking staff. The buffet cooks have no idea how to prepare or season food - everything tastes like it was cooked or served in dirty bath water - and the ingredients they are given by management are far below Western standards. I don’t know about you, but I didn’t pay $6500 to be served boiled bananas, pigs feet, and intestines. Even the “boiled chicken” are tiny pieces of unedible scrap meat most people wouldn’t feed their dog. I am sad to post this because I don’t want to be accused of maligning a country. But this is an honest review of a property who is laughing at its clients as they cut costs and skip basic health protocols that may not be common in DR but should be required by the travel companies that promote this all inclusive hotel. All I want to do is eat somewhere else, which sucks because I have already paid to eat here. It just isn’t edible. I went to salads because I thought that would be safe, and ended up with traveller’s diarrhea. Yuck. What a way to spend your vacation on the toilet, and those are not close to the pool or beach. Ignore this honest review at your own risk. My true words will haunt you if you book here. Stay away.

Winifer made pur vacation a dream come true
Winifer was amazing everyday when we came for food! She really took the time to understand what we wanted to order. I also understood that i was a vegetarian and she would talk to the chef for me as well.

Run far away from trying to make Viva tangerine your resort
This was hands-down the worst resort I’ve ever been to out of dozens and dozens of resorts. No hot water the entire week we are there. The power kept going off. The food was absolutely disgusting. The staff is not very helpful. Everything seems to be closed the elevators are broken so if you have any kind of disability, you cannot get up to the third floor where all of the shows are at and half the time if you wanna play any of the pool or ping-pong or anything like that on the resort you gotta leave deposits to play anything so so far for all inclusive this was not a Great time

Everything I expected and then some!
Very clean, friendly staff, weather was great! Great if you’re looking for a smaller resort, beachfront , we felt very safe ! Buffet was not bad, the alla cart restaurants had very good food … all in all it was a definite 8/10. There are no streaming services on the TV and the only English Channel was CNN, a lot of activities throughout the day into the early evening. I definitely would come back and recommend to others ! Thank you Viva Tangerine, Cabarete for a great stay . Carolyn from Ontario,Canada🇨🇦
