Let me start by saying that I read a lot of the reviews and they were pretty positive. Unfortunately, the food is not very good the service is not very good. People that work here seem to think that we are putting them out by doing their job. I believe it was the hotels fault for booking 100% of the property and not have enough help. They need more bathrooms in the public areas, especially by the pool. Only 2 stalls for the entire pool and beach area! One last thing my friend and I both got sick, something intestinal, vomiting , chill, diarrhea and extremely fatigued. I have been to over 30 all inclusives, this one I would not recommend. 😔
Wonderful location for a week in paradise! If food is very important to you, you might want to consider other options.
Location and beach were the highlight of this resort. Beautiful, sunny week in paradise. Great entertainment at night compared to some other resorts we've been to. Food quality and options could have been better. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.
This was mine and my husband’s second time here. This time it was our 31st Anniversary and the hotel gave us champagne , cake and chocolate covered strawberries 🍓. My husband bought my dinner in the dry Cenote which was amazing food! The entertainment was great , food , drinks and friendly staff. I love that this resort has bikes as we them everyday! Definitely will be back here again!! 🇲🇽
2nd time, same as the first
This was our second time to this resort for a 2 week stay so all in all we were happy with it. Checkin was quick and easy and we were taken to our room right away. It was building 2, we were on the 3rd floor. We were a lttle disappointed with our room though as it was dark and musty... the trees were growing right into the balcony making it basically unusable. We went back to the front desk and requested an upgraded room. They booked us for a veiwing the next day for a room in building 3 and the instant we saw it we were sold. It was much bigger, brighter, 60 inch tv (which was good for those rainy days) and it wasn't musty smelling. Lots of closet space, huge bright bathroom and right next to the quieter adult pool, with pool bar. The walk to the beach was about 10 minutes through the resort but well worth it. Once on the beautiful beach there was never an issue with getting a lounger. The main pool bar was very busy with long line ups so do what you can to limit your trips, we always bring bubba mugs. The snack bar by the main pool is also very busy but worth it for their bugers, fries, pizza and salads. But their ketchup, if thats what you call it, was more like a watery tomatoe sauce. I tried it once. The main buffet was not too bad, there was always something good to eat, basically the same stuff every day so it does get tiring. But, thats when the a la carte restaurants come in. Very good food at them all We especially liked the Viva Cafe, excellent food great steak. The Mexican Hacienda was also very good, authentic mexican food, starting with nachos with various dips and ending with tequila shots. The main bar can be very very busy, but Deagle and Petro were awesome and looked after us, they both made great margaritas. We usually went up to the sports bar which was not as busy and Gregorio was excellent. He'd see us coming and have our drinks ready for us when we got there. Entertainment at the bar was quite good they had excellent solo guitarists and mariachi bands so a good mix. The nightly shows... well .... you can only see so many before they all look the same so we never go. Will we be back, probably there is lots to do there, go for a bike ride around Xaman ha, visit 5th ave, take the ferry to Cozumel, lots of excursions and, of course, walk the beautiful bech that seemed to change daily.
Nice Resort and Beautiful Beach
Stayed here while visiting Mexico for our first time. This is a nice property although it was hit or miss with the friendliness of the staff. The majority of them were great, but some of them just seemed like they didn’t want to be there. The towel situation in the room was odd as our room had four towels for three people and no wash cloths, while the people traveling with us only had three towels for four people, and one wash cloth and were told they couldn’t get another towel. As others have said, the nicer restaurants were virtually impossible to get into. Out of the five nights we were there we were able to get into three sit down restaurants. The beach was beautiful with plenty of seating.
