Lived the LUX Life
Prive was worth the cost. Excellent experience. Excellent staff and food. I would definitely go here again. Their spa was great with both the cedar sauna and steam room in the locker rooms so there was privacy. I lived the ultimate LUX Life for 6 days. It was amazing and I would love to do this annually.

Book it! You won't be disappointed!
I cannot say enough great things about this resort. My partner and I were looking for three main things- relaxing lush grounds, great food, and a kid free vacation. This resort hit all these things and more. Grounds were incredibly kept while still maintaining a natural look, beach was fantastic (although the surf was rough but that's more Mother Nature's department), food was plentiful and very tasty. The resort has a choice of two pool areas: One we called the "party pool" with a ton of activities and the other was the "golden pool" for a more quiet serene experience. Service staff couldn't have been any nicer or more attentive. The food was fantastic with several options to choose from. Several themed restaurants and then an excellent taco truck by the pool. There was nothing about this resort we didn't like. Transfer service from airport to hotel and back was easy to set up. "All-Inclusive" was totally worth it and I noticed i didn't see anyone visibly intoxicated which I appreciated. Be sure to check out Kevin, the big iguana by the golden pool, he really is something to see. The photos of the resort are exactly as pictured!

Wonderful Experience!!
Our family loved the Valentin! The grounds are beautiful! The staff was amazing!! We enjoyed the beach and the pools. Lots of choices for dinner restaurants. Buffet or ordering options available for both breakfast and lunch. Several bars to select from and with different vibes.

After 11 visits, The Whole is still better than the sum of its parts
The resort has everything you need and some of the ways they do things, are done for a reason and in the end turn out to be a good thing. Our room was luxurious in amenities and we found that if you left a few pesos tip in the mini bar, many good things would arrive in great quantities. The staff are amazing, the grounds are spectacular, the pools are huge and the beach is wonderful. The surf can get a bit rough as we both found out. Suffice it to say, hang on to your shorts. :-) But the beach has been ravaged by the hurricanes, so wear your water shoes. Meals are on a first come first serve basis, starting at 6pm, and while that may seem to be a negative to some people, it actually works very well. We were there when the resort was at capacity, and yet it did not feel like it. If you did not get into the first sitting at one of the 7 restaurants, you were given a beeper, and headed off to one of the bars and terraces, to sit and enjoy the company of others. There was always someone you could share stories with and it never felt like an inconvenience. The restaurants were excellent and out favourites were the Mexican and Italian restaurant. By the way, try the tiramisu and chocolate cake at the Italian restaurant, to die for. You will understand why we say the little bit of walking was welcome after meals such as these. Bars, where located all over the place and it seemed they always had what we wanted. If you like a very dry vodka martini, try the little bar near the front of the lobby. We did arrange for our own ground transportation, through Kalido, from the airport to the resort and back. Much quicker and nicer than the services supplied by the airlines. It's about a 30 minute ride. If you want a real treat, go and find Dora. She is an amazing ambassador and a fountain of knowledge. All in all, I would highly recommend this adults only all inclusive resort. Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful oasis for complete relaxation
One of the best all inclusive we have been to. The selection of food from a la carte restaurant, snack bars, and buffet there's food for everyone. The Japanese restaurant was a surprise as we sat at the sushi bar and had a chef special plate of amazing sushi and sashimi. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Areas of quiet and excitement. Beach is a huge area and there was no lacking for spots. Our favorite pool was the golden as it was perfect for relaxing and was right outside our door. Activities are non stop and you can participate in so many! From dancing to a foam party! We loved the 5k they hosted the last time we came and did the bike tour this go. They also have tennis and pickle ball. Don't skip the spa. They do a wonderful job and have a sauna and steam room to enjoy before and after!
