Mar 21, 2026Can’t wait to return to Unico 20 87 !
Another wonderful stay at Unico 20 87! March 2026. The location had added a new French restaurant Avec since we were there last January 2025. The food was fabulous! There were plenty of activities to do. We could relax or we could join in. Our butlers Roger and Eduardo made it even more special! It was so nice not to fight for chairs every day and attend to our every need! Can’t wait to come back again!

Amazing trip!!!
This was our first time going to Mexico as well as staying at an Unico property. It was my husband's and my honeymoon and overall we had a wonderful stay. The hotel was clean and tidy, the stay was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel had beautiful views of the beach and multiple pools/pool bars to relax and unwind. We had butler staff during our stay, Rodrigo and Javier, who were the greatest. They helped us make dinner reservations, book tours and activities, booked us lounge chairs and a cabana by the pool, and answered any questions we had during our trip. Overall the food was delicious, although we had one meal at Restaurant 20•87 that didn’t quite love up to the five star experience. The room would get muggy at night so we often had to keep the AC down very low, but aside from these couple things it really was a five star experience as a whole. We had an incredibly relaxing and enjoyable vacation. We would absolutely recommend Unico to others and would visit again in the future.

Not a hotel for a couple in their 60s wanting some R&R after a Mayan tour!! Good : food, beach, rooms and staff Not so good: noisy pool parties in afternoon meant couldn’t sit on balcony. No pool to swim in as all full with groups drinking. Hard sell on arrival. Need to book dinner reservation as soon as arrive (or before) if you want your preferred time Obviously designed for groups and younger couples.

Mar 20, 2026WARNING: DO NOT BUY INTO LEGENDARY VACATION CLUB - TOTAL BAIT AND SWITCH
My wife and I were completely duped into buying this membership, and it has been a total financial nightmare. During the sales pitch in Mexico, they kept us hostage for hours, refused to take "no" for an answer, and continuously served us at least 3 to 4 alcoholic drinks each to wear us down and impair our judgment before signing a legally binding document. We were sold on a bunch of verbal promises that turned out to be complete lies. First, they explicitly guaranteed us a Disney trip for only $216. That was completely fabricated; we eventually had to book outside their network and pay the full retail price. Second, we have found that there are constantly zero "free weeks" available when we actually try to book a trip, making the membership useless. Third, the sales rep looked us in the eye and promised that adding our 5th child to our reservations would only cost a tiny extra fee. When we actually tried to book for our family of five, they demanded thousands of dollars more. The absolute worst part happened a few months after signing. When we realized the Disney trip was a scam and called to cancel, their representatives aggressively threatened my wife. They told her we weren't allowed to cancel, that we would lose every penny we had already paid, and that they would ruin her U.S. credit score if we stopped making payments. They intentionally used these aggressive scare tactics to intimidate her and trick us into keeping the account open. They will promise you the world, hide the truth in the fine print, and trap you with terrible customer service. Save your money, ignore whatever "free" breakfast or gifts they offer you, and stay far away from Legendary Vacation Club.

Gorgeous resort, staff & service amazing!
The resort is beautiful and the service is amazing! Our entire week was so relaxing!! The staff everywhere from the restaurants, bar tenders, pool staff to the housekeepers were so friendly and helpful! The food at all of the restaurants was amazing!! Our host Amelia Marin was especially helpful and kind! We enjoyed visiting with her and how attentive she was!! Can’t wait to go back!
