    We have had an amazing time. The chairman experience has been wonderful. Restaurants excellent. Roberto our pool server, we will miss you 😔 Ocean views and sunsets were incredible. You definitely won't be disappointed if you get to visit!!

    Hotel is going to try to nickel and dime you but Carlos concierge is fantastic

    It is a smaller resort. Definitely pay for what you receive. Restaurants were fantastic. We were there for the shelter in place and super let down that the hotel tried to charges triple what we paid on Expedia when we were forced to lock down. Aside from that staff was great and Carlos Miranda really made us feel like we were getting treated premium.

    Suggestions

    Having been to Unico 2087 twice and comparing that experience to this new Unico I have some suggestions. There needs to be music at the main pool all day. Doesn't have to be loud, but with no music, it can seem rather boring. The basketball hoop needs to be new. The current one is like a hand me down or a donation. There needs to be some sort of announcement Of upcoming activites during the day. Not everyone pays attention to the daily activity schedule. Reminders! I believe there needs to be some mixology at the main bar. "Balam"? Fun or cool looking/tasting drinks. Not that there is necessarily room but water bike or yoga in the pool? There needs to be more wind block glass at the 11th floor pool. It is a wind tunnel on each end. Just my thoughts.
