Our waiter in the restaurant Helios was called Angel and he was the best. We went to this restaurant for dinner as a family and we had the best experience with Angel. He was very attentive and professional. We will definitely be coming here again.

Amazing genuine service
I went to TRS coral with my husband to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We had the best vacation ever. The service we received from our butlers Robin, Freddie and Eladio was excellent. They really took the time to get to know us and make our vacation extra special. Everyone that works at TRS gave us excellent service especially at the Helios restaurant. Special mention to Eduardo the manager and the girl making the crepes (sorry forgot her name). The staff there went over and above and kept giving us special celebration deserts to celebrate our anniversary. We had an amazing swimout room and really enjoyed that. The room service was excellent and we had drinks served right to our pool. The food was all good. Our last night we ate at the French restaurant and the pianist took song requests and played our wedding song. This place is truly amazing and we will definitely be back and will recommend to all our family and friends.

Awesome Cancun stay
Great Hotel. Food and entertainment was terrific. Service was top notch and the drinks, top shelf. Beach and pool were fun.

Overall, we met some great people, enjoyed the weather, the water, and had a relaxing, enjoyable time but the little things do count in this price range, so this is our review.... Great looking resort but it is showing age and use - common areas need some repairs especially in the bathrooms. The beach is lovely (very little seaweed, nice sand) but could use more chairs. Staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurants are well designed albeit showing some wear & tear (Helios needs a makeover). Food overall is subpar. Sometimes arrives lukewarm, usually underwhelming in flavour. Don't ask to take any leftovers with you to your room (like pizza). Too much food waste in my opinion. I ask for one egg and some bacon, I get 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns (?!). Kitchen cleanliness and food safety needs to be reviewed - many getting ill immediately after eating, including myself (Helios was often mentioned). Bar staff was fantastic everywhere - although pool are drinks are either watered down or flat. I drink club soda and soon learned to ask for a can. Beach/Pool area - bottled water is NOT available. Ice machine can definitely affect the water taste/quality. We experienced this issue at the beach, pool, and once at Caprichio. Bring a reusable cup and use the bottled water from your room (which is in GLASS bottles). Bartender YULY was our favourite evening bartender (bar between Tentazione and La Boheme) - she was always lovely, attentive, and each drink was expertly crafted in front of you. Hands down the best at this resort. Rooms are nice but you will likely be offered a room with two queens and no view and be asked if you want to upgrade - annoying. I had two options when I booked: Junior Suite Swim Up and Garden Suite Swim Up. We booked a Junior Suite swim up - not garden one and was told mine was facing a garden. Cost of upgrades can be negotiated which again points towards a questionable check in tactic. Spoke to several others with similar experiences. Room service is hit and miss but the food is not great. Took several days to get a standing order for breakfast delivered at the same time every day. Entertainment is lacking. Could be because you can easily go to the larger family resort but occasional entertainment and better music around the pool would have been nice. Evening events could be better as well. Use your butlers! Yareni, Benji, and Lizbeth in building 2 went above and beyond to fix any of our issues and were available and responsive when needed - excellent service from them. They will book your dinner times in advance (MUST DO this when you get there or you are eating at 9pm), help you with any concerns, and even find some glue for your broken shoe!! Would we return? Maybe on a really good sale but highly unlikely. We preferred other resorts in the same price range over this one unfortunately.

Excellent
The resort was beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed a spacious 2-level loft that included 2 bathrooms. Our butlers Mike, Maria & Stef sent us daily activities and events. They were available every time we passed their desk and answered many of our queries . We felt very cared for! They booked tickets for a show, stocked our bar & booked dinners for us. At the pool, Ulises was so kind and welcoming . Also very efficient. He made us feel pampered. We will definitely go back to TRS!
